WHY THE FUCK DID I HAVE TO JINX MYSELF?

I literally just bumped into him and the other civil corps again, dealing with monsters, they were swarms of Mr. Bugs.

“Are you attracted to danger?” The blond girl from last night asked.

I chose to just backtrack, I wasn’t in the mood to talk, I wasn’t in the mood for people. But of course, I had to gain the attention of one of the monsters, and it attacked me. It bit me in the calf of my leg. The muscle tendons that were cut sent pain through my body, like an electric current buzzing through the wires.

The pain hurt so intensely yet; I wasn’t screaming. I’d dropped the materials I’d collected for future commissions, as I dropped my body down to my hands and knees from the shock of pain. I just reacted after a moment, I defeated the monster and was now very pissed. But I first ripped my pant leg so I could stop the bleeding by tying the ripped cloth above the wound and around my calf. So to blow off my steam I joined the battle with Arlo and the other members of the civil corps. Again, I defeated the most and ensured the victory.

“Seriously. How do you do that?” The guy(Not Arlo) asked.

“Piss off.” I was not in a good mood. I ended up walking back to collect my fallen materials.

“You should get that wound checked out by Dr. Xu.” Arlo told me.

“I can take care of myself.” I didn’t stop collecting my materials.

“Alrighty, do you now read our warnings we post? Or do you read them just to not listen to them?” The girl asked.

“Aki your really starting to piss me off.” Arlo grumbled.

“I don’t care.” I stood up with my stuff in my arms again. “Cause I can take care of my self. I know how to fight to protect myself. I don’t need your help to tell me what I can and can’t do. So leave me alone. I don’t bother me, then I don’t bother you.” I began to walk off, and they let me.

When I made it home I organised my materials then entered the cabin. Right, I still had to fill in the holes, so it was a bit chilly. I opened my first aid kit and disinfected the bite, then I wrapped it in gause and medical tape. I ended up now needing a new pair of pants… great!

I ended up just going to sleep, I was exhausted, from the previous late nights. I slept till mid day and when I woke up I showed Presley the furnace I’d made.

I passed the test and got my builders license! Well now I had to go see mayor Gale to receive my license and register my workshop. When that finally happened I could finally get my first commission… oh right, it was the commission for that bridge that the civil corps needs. I’d have to update Arlo on my progress every now and then.

When I finally got home after a very peoplely day, I chose to finally fix the holes! There was no more draft in this damned house!

By the time I was finally fully decompressed about the day it was sundown. And the sunset was so pretty. The clouds looked like cotton candy, with the pastel colors of the sky in pinks and oranges. It was relaxing to see it, and its beauty. I’d forgotten what its like, because it’s been so long since I took the time to slow down. Look around at the world. And enjoy it. It was so… peaceful.
