After Arlo left I chose to follow his steps out of the mine and then retraced my steps to my home. It was nice and warm inside after I’d dropped off my materials near my wood. I felt pretty nice.
I chose to take a shower too, after I undressed, I’d just been collecting sweat and dirt so my shower felt so nice as the warm water rushed over my bare skin. It was refreshing to see my tattoos, because in the flying pigs you’re not supposed to show them, which is why I wore a jacket and jeans. I had a lot of tattoos, and loved them all.
My favorite one was my sleeve tattoo covering my right arm, it was pretty stars, hearts, swirls, in a rainbow from my shoulder to my wrist. I had a matching full leg one on my left leg that was the same pattern and the same colors.
On my right thigh I had a wrap around tattoo of antique fence posts, and a matching one on my left bicep. Then on my left wrist I had a snake wrapping around my wrist. On my back I had a pair of broken and bandaged angel wings. I had a dragon tattoo on the right side of my hip. Most of my tattoos were inspired from doodles I used to do when I used to draw on myself.
I hadn’t gotten a new one in a few years, cause I’d been super busy with my old job. Maybe I could get another one… I’ve been wanting to get a quote thats basically shaped my entire life. Or maybe mushrooms growing up from my right ankle? But would I have time? I guess I’ll have to see once I get adjusted to my new schedule considering my new job.
After my refreshing shower I chose to get dressing in a yellow tee with black shorts.(Yep, I still love yellow) It was a little warm in the house anyway, yet I curled up in my bed comforter and went to sleep.
I woke up to someone knocking on my door. It had jolted me awake, and I blame the flying pigs having made me not a deep sleeper like I’d have preferred. The knocking was persistent and getting annoying so I chose not to ignore it.
“Hold on!” I was a bit annoyed, it wasn’t even 6 am! I’d have accepted that but it was 5:40 am…
The knocking stopped. I didn’t care I was in a tee and shorts -that reached my knees- cause I slept in them and it was fine, and because I had scars on my thighs I liked to hide. I opened the door a bit fast and leaned on the door frame. IT WAS FREAKING ARLO! How the fuck did he find out where I live?
“What? Its only 5:40 am… whatever you needed couldn’t have waited 20 minutes?”
You may have noticed I normally wake up at midday, but thats cause my internal clock is messed up, I’ve been slowly getting closer to waking up at 6am.
Arlo seemed to pause… no he froze for a moment.
“What?” I was really annoyed. And when I spoke I seemed to have snapped him out of his trance.
“I uh… since you don’t seem to read our notices I chose to deliver it to you so I know you’ve read it.” Arlo handed me a slip of paper.
