I do somewhat like this comic, it's one of the University projects I was most proud of after completion. It's definitely still rushed, I had to do pretty much the whole thing within four weeks and you can tell.

It's got some nicks and scratches to be sure but I was and still am ultimately satisfied with it.

This is a comic from the 3rd semester of my Cartoon and Comics Arts course. I wanted to see a fusion between the storytelling style of David Cronenberg and the art style of Jhonen Vasquez. This is how Pixeldrome came to be.

Pixeldrome is conceptually similar to Videodrome, it's about a video game which breaks down the boundaries between fiction and reality. Though in this case the entity is more literal, in Cronenberg's Videodrome the threat is more thematic.

This is all done in Jhonen Vasquez's style. I'm a big fan of Invader Zim and just his art style in general. I think his artwork meshes really well with David Cronenberg's storytelling.

It's a loving tribute to both creators, but I think it also works as it's own thing.
