Experiment number 0025.

The past 24 attempts to recreate or create new progress with the help of this red jewel failed to give any results. Two days ago, I found this gem while out for battle with my army. We found it lying in a crater that it seemed to have caused itself. The nearby humans had been incinerated and melted into a pile of conscious flesh. I then used this gem to somehow tear through the very fabric of space to cut the amalgam of flesh in half. I wish to recreate this process or find new results with this experiment.

If you are still reading this… Prior to my previous warnings at the start of this logbook, Harry or whoever would sneak into my office to read my findings. You will be severely reprimanded via capital punishment.

The power that I felt when I manipulated this gem for the first time two days ago was immense. If I cannot understand how to make it work. Then I have to find a way to destroy it. But I haven’t reached that yet. Experiment 25 was conclusive. Several minutes ago, I managed to tear through space once more and keep it open long enough to put my head through the breach to experience what was on the other side.

It was… Confusing, to say the least. It seemed like i was between space and time… Between their very fabric. Time was long and infinite… Sphere-like objects were on this “Time.” Probably our future and past, depending on from where we looked at them. At the end of that line there was no more planet. So I do believe we are going toward massive extinction… There was this black hole too. I didn’t have much time to look around, as the breach did close quite fast… But I do believe I saw an eye in there. It seemed to be watching us?

Oh, I almost forgot to write this down. In the ‘‘Forward Time,’’ as I choose to call it. Did I see time bulging out into multiple lines looping on themselves? What the hell is even going on in the future?

To be more than honest. I couldn’t care about what will happen in the far future. All I care about is to make sure my dominion prospers. My people are very dear to me… Some more than others. Anyways, this isn’t what this logbook is about.

I figured that to open a breach between space itself, I had to swing my arm at a specific angle while holding the gem. 23.4°, to be specific. The exact tilt of this planet. Did this mean that our planet was tilted in the exact way that space was oriented? Perhaps. Space did always have its own rules. For example. My private scientist in the last 5 years observed space with our specially made telescope to observe black holes. In theory, if you were to look anywhere in space, it should all look similar. So half of the black holes should turn left while the other half should turn right… But we discovered that they do not work like that. More than half of them move clockwise… Which shouldn’t be possible.

This gem might just be able to give us quite an advancement in technology if I am able to figure it out fully. I’m more than sure that it has more than one ability. Splitting space in half feels weak compared to the power I am able to feel within it. It holds infinity. I’m sure of it.

In the next few minutes, I will test out what happens if you try and stab the gem within your own hand. Radical, I know. But science wouldn’t prosper without radicality.

Results of experiment 25.

After the removal of the gem from my hand, I was able to tear open space for a short moment as my hand slowly healed. The gem gave me healing abilities, and they work even when I do not touch the gem anymore. For the “space ripping,” as of now, I do still need to hold the gem to use it. But the mere fact I have a healing factor now makes it more than clear. The gem does hold more powers. Good.

I do wonder… Could I attack the past by attacking the future through a space breach? In theory it makes sense. I already saw that space and time layers onto themselves in a weird way… What would stop me from opening a breach inside a breach? Breaking space in half to the power of two. What would happen if I did do that? Would I breach into another space and acquire a form of teleportation… Or would it tear through time and allow me to navigate it?

I wonder. I heard Harry talk of fate once. If I do manage to attack the past using the future… Or the inverse. Was it fated to happen? Or was it just broken to allow a new fate to appear in the concept of time?

This gem really brought out the philosophical side of me… For my next experiment I will—

Harry just walked in to check if I was doing alright after the battle that we had a few days ago… Where was I? Right, the experiment. I will try to attack my past self.

I don’t know what to say… I did manage to tear through my breach… So a spatial tear to the power of two, as I previously said. But… I didn’t see the past… I saw beyond time, a realm beyond it. It was… Weird to say the least… Everything was in shapes I couldn’t understand… More than three-dimensional. However, by ripping a third breach open in that breach, I was able to invert my two other breaches onto themselves as if gravity, space, and time folded on themselves like a dragon eating its own tail—or was it a snake? Whatever. I managed to hit my past self from the future. To attack the past, you need to be outside of time itself and then tear through time from that dimension. You have to tear through time backward. Literally.

There is one thing I am concerned about. What was this… Eye I saw? It clearly was looking from outside time at time… A watcher of time?… So did gods exist, or was this something even higher? Does it have one of these gems… and if yes. Can it do what I’m trying to do without a care …?

It spoke. The eye, I mean… It spoke to me. I wasn’t even doing an experiment… I was in the middle of training with the silver-helmet division, and IT SPOKE. It used my childhood nickname… It knew it… It’s probably watching me write these logs… Maybe even taking them and writing them down for itself. Why did it interact with me? What can it do to my dominion… My people? Why did I take this gem? What is it… What does it see in me worth interacting for?

I think it’s… It spoke again… Just now as I’m writing this… I would scream for it to shut up if I could but I know more than enough that… It cannot hear me. It’s probably just reading what I’m writing… Observing me without my consent. It told me one word… “Vessel.”

Vessel of what? Who is the vessel? I feel like I’m going crazy by the second… Just because I took this gem a week ago. Does it want me to become the vessel of the gem’s power? It just said yes… That voice echoed through my whole body just now… That gem… It didn’t just fall from the sky randomly, did it… I was… Selected. It has been watching me for so long… Analysing me… Most likely asking itself if I was a viable vessel for its power…

I refuse… I will not become yours. Nothing can make me change that…
