The challenger started to move, acting as if he were someone powerful, and then spoke in an irritating tone:

— I’m here to show you what dancing really is, — he said, gesturing toward the crowd, trying to get them on his side.

Smart didn’t react; he just stood there in silence, unable to form a single word.

It took him a moment to gather himself, and without turning back to look at his friends, he spoke in a serious tone:

“Han, Ren… our time here is over.

It’s time for us to leave.

I’d rather accept defeat than let my eyes keep looking at what’s standing in front of me now.”

The challenger lost his temper at the words he’d just heard and took a few steps forward, trying to get closer to Smart.

Ren and Han reacted without wasting a second.

Both of them stepped in, blocking his way and cutting off any chance for him to get to Smart.

“Hey, hey—one step back to where you belong,” Han said in a sharp, irritated voice.

The crowd went silent for a moment, curious to understand what was happening.

“Let’s go, guys,” Smart said in a voice filled with sorrow.

They grabbed Smart and quickly pulled him away from the scene. They shot a deadly glare at that guy, while Ren almost collided with him, brushing past closely as he went by

Jin and Leo had been watching the whole scene from the second floor, hearts racing with tension

A wild, burning anger consumed Jin; so intense that if that guy had stepped any closer, he felt like he could smash him to the ground without mercy

Just seeing everything unfold and being powerless to stop it twisted his chest, making it hard to breathe

His eyes burned with raw fury, and even the air he inhaled felt heavy, pressing down on him

Cigarettes and alcohol were his only temporary refuge, but they barely helped.

Thoughts collided in his mind, countless and chaotic—but one stood out:

“If he were mine right now… that guy wouldn’t even be standing

I’d make sure no one could get close to that cute face or dare to look him in the eyes

Those eyes… they’d belong only to me.”

Jin’s thoughts were interrupted by Leo, who was watching him closely

He knew Jin too well—once something got stuck in his head, nothing could change it.

— Enough drinking for now. Let’s move, — Leo said calmly.

Jin’s throat felt dry, and a sip of alcohol barely eased the tension

He lit another cigarette, leaned back, and with a voice sharp with barely contained anger, said:

— That person… no one else will have him.

He will be mine.

This fire inside me? I’ll unleash it on anyone who dares to get in the way.

— Alright, let’s get up now and prepare for that “mission” with the cute kid, — Leo added, just to keep him grounded
