I could feel consciousness trying to pull me back into the world of the living. Truth be told I wasn't ready to wake up yet. I hadn't slept so well in ages. Wait. This wasn't the cold hard ground I was used to! Where am I?
My eyes flew open in a second. I looked around my vision having a slight blur to it. What even happened? How did I end up here? Is this a dungeon? I can't be in a dungeon!
"He found me! He found me! He found me!" I couldn't stop myself. I was going to go crazy. He couldn't have found me already right? There's just no way! Unless the Aphla of this pack knows Him and contacted Him. I shoved my small form into the corner of the cell. I could feel the need to cry hitting me.
"How could I let this happen? I was stupid! I should have never stopped at that stupud pond!"
"How could you let what happen?" It was the alpha from the woods. He was looking into my cell. How had I not noticed him?
"Are...Are you sending me back?" I couldn't stop the question from leaving my lips. I immediately regretted the question.
"Sending you back? Back to where? You're orginal pack? We don't even know what pack you're from. Although we will figure that out. When a rogue is caught it is Werewolf law to send them back to their original pack for trial." He said. I could feel all color drain from my face.
"Just kill me please! Don't...Don't send me back! I can't do it! I can't do that ever again!" I was losing what little control I had over my emtions. I would rather kill myself than ever go back to Him!
"Woah, thats quite the reaction. Did your old pack do... things to you? Bad things?" He crouched to my level and almost looked concerned for me. For some reason I felt my chest pull at the face he was making. "I'm going to go get my brother. He'll know what to do.'
"Please... Don't leave me alone down here!" I coudn't stop the plea. Being alone in the woods is different from being alone in a cell in a scary dungeon. Especially when all you have are memories bombarding you everytime you move your eyes.
"Don't worry I will be right back. It'll just take me a couple minutes to get my brother." He stood up and then he was gone.
Sorry folks for being MIA. I had a small house fire the week of Christmas that took a bit to repair and then had the flu going into the new year. I will try to maintain 3 updates a week. I just don't have set days yet or a set schedule. I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
