City of Gantun

Aradi stared at the unconscious suspect, the body twitched in the molding garbage container. Her attention was taken by a dropship beginning to land in the wide alleyway. The ignition from the engines began to hit the ground, pushing a littered can and some miscellaneous junk aside, Aradi's neatly tied hair waved and danced around as the wind brushed through it, her eyes squinted somewhat before opening alongside the cooldown of the engines. A boarding 2 officers stood on the lowering gangway. Not waiting for it to stop, they stepped off and began walking towards Aradi, she made a gesture with her hand; a closed fist with her thumb sticking out, being thrown to the side of her face, indicating the suspect was in the container behind her.

Her eyes took upon the suspect being put on a MediBed, a metallic stretcher with medical tools meant to sustain and keep track of damaged citizens. The Elf's gaze took a good look at the suspect. It was a new generation Citizen, the next phase of the perfect citizen that the Council had been working on producing for over 25 thousand years....

The bald, clay skinned suspect laid on the stretcher, his body being straightened by one of the officers, he took to a scanner and read the data aloud,
"Fractured cervical vertebrae, spinal cord took a pretty good hit. I'd hate to be on your radar" he said, Aradi's lip began to twitch up a bit, her eyes lowered as her face broke into a smug expression,
"Not my finest work, but thank you, thank you"

As the shift continued, Aradi found herself working more than usual, though not a problem, she increasingly grew irritated with the behavior of the citizens. Aradi initiated the Hornet's pursuit alarms, pulled on the hand brake, the Hornet pulled into a parking lot as she noticed one loitering in front of a store, she stepped out and ran to an individual who was drinking while leaning against a store, she walked up to him. The Citizen was 4'7, he looked up at Aradi, who towered him at 5'9. The tower spoke, and words broke through the clouds to reach the citizen,
"Name"
At first the individual just stared at her, flabbergasted at the sight what appeared to be a human, in fact many others in the store did stare, and not only that, took out their phones, and began recording,
"I...I..uhh - D-Daydario"
Aradi held a tablet, she stared at the UI, a highlighted square constantly followed her position, information on any person of interest within the square would be loaded in from a single tap.

"Daydario Rigg. I take it you want a one way trip to the Non-Citizen district?" Aradi asked sarcastically,
"No-no...uhh"
"Ma'am"
"Ma'am, no, no ma'am"

Aradi looked at the tablet, there are many things that the Council lets slide, but 1 egregious crime that is not let off so easily is multiple failures to maintain a job, which is what Daydario had. To Aradi, nothing negatively impacts the Council more than incompetence, and such was on display in front of her.

"Why don't you have a job, Daydario?"
Daydario's eyes shifted to the left, a sweat broke out on his forehead, things were moving quite fast for this one, not only had Daydario Rigg only ever saw humans in film and video games, but a supposed one was now standing in front of him, in Protectorate gear, looking to end his lazy streak. The clay skinned citizen spoke quietly with a cowardice undertone,
"I - I don't know, I'm waiting for a job I called for to " -
Aradi interrupted, speaking in a low, furious tone, her demeanor changed entirely,
"So you think you can just sit and waste the Council's time, loitering, sipping your little...non-alcoholic soda cup. Do you know what the law says about the jobless, Daydario?"
"N-no I don't...."
"I'll dumb it down for you. It says that any Citizen attempting to not contribute to the Council's will is deemed an undesirable at best. You've heard stories of the Non-Citizen District, drug over doses, crime, death, thievery, even forced Virts, maybe you fit in there more than you do here, would you like to go sight seeing with me?"
Daydario gulped, his lower lip shook a bit,
"I don't think I want to"

"Unfortunately for you, Daydario Rigg, your SoCred just hit the lottery for a vacation in the Non-Citizen District. I'm signing you up for a weekend trip, no hard feelings. It's the end of my shift, and I'm feeling generous, " Aradi said as she looked down as the tapping sounds of her fingers hit the screen. There was a moment of silence, she then looked up,
"Hands behind your back" she ordered.

A dropship descended onto a parking lot, Aradi held the arrested individual by the wrist, a deck officer approached her,
"Protocol says you have to take this one" he said, Aradi walked forward,
"I know what protocol says" she said as she walked past him, the deck officer watched her walk away,
Mocking her silently.

Aradi sat the citizen down on a chair, his cuffs were attached to a chain that connected to the ship so he wouldn't try anything fancy, she stood just before the opened gangway, observing the city as the dropship slowly took flight, there were other people chained to their seats aboard as well. Staring at her, and she knew it, she took out her tablet, and put in a request to dock credit on all who did.

The city was lively, drones flying around, ships with authorized licenses to take to the sky, the atmosphere was clean, but began to muddle somewhat as they got closer to the Non-Citizen District. A deck officer approached her,
"You know this type of shit doesn't really happen" she said, referring to sending citizens to the NC-District on a temporary visa. Aradi turned to the deck officer, who was masked up with a breathing apparatus,
"First gen Citizens are the future of the Council, where I can offer a chance of rehabilitation, I will, besides.."

The Elf's words went from firm to a more softer tone,
"...it's been a while since I took a ride in a dropship"

NC-District border offices

Aradi checked into an office that nested beside a goliath-like gate, its angled pillars reached high as a transport vehicle began to drive through.
"Woah. a human" a voice said, she ignored the comment,
"I'm registering a temporary visa for a Citizen, name: Daydario Rigg" she said as she talked to the four armed Kien behind the glass. The Kien looked at a computer screen, his eyes being held up by tendril like optic nerves
"Ah yea, finger print to confirm transfer there" she said as she pointed to the pad. Aradi took a look at the pad,
"You don't happen to have a GCID scanner available?"
"Like, for authorization? Why"
Aradi looked a bit embarrassed,
"Well - fffforget it" she said as she put her finger on the scanner, an error immediately popped up,
The Kien squinted her eyes,
"An error? What, hold on, try again in 3.....2.....1....now"
Aradi pressed again, and yet again: error.

The Kien looked up at Aradi,
"What are you doing"
Aradi shook her head, feeling guilty,
"I'm n- I'm not doing anything, that's why I asked for a scanner, my, I don't know, my body, it...it just doesn't register well for some reason"

The kien sighed,
"I can manually enter your signature here, what is it?"
"Antara-Zero"
"...and there, done. Don't worry about it, must be a human thing, nothing to be ashamed of, in fact you really made my week today. It's been a total slog. Anyways, you're clear, the convict will be transferred asap, enjoy yourself"

Suddenly, Aradi's walkie lit up,
"I need a unit for a 10-30 resolution"
She answered the call,
"Antara-Zero on route"
The Kien watched her quickly dart out,
"That is one crazy human"

Non-Citizen District

Daydario began panicking as he stepped off the transport, he looked around, eyes staring at him from dark alleys. An Officer stepping off the transport just behind him looked around with his gun at the ready. All "Tourists" of the NC Districts are granted escort until their visit expires, should that officer come into contact with unsanitary subjects, lethal force is authorized. The transport that carried Daydario had a mounted turret at the ready. Homeless individuals limped by, some standing with their backs arched as if their heads were about to kiss the pavement. Mixtures of blood colluded into a rainbow of color, flowed into drainages, former citizens with virt-headsets lie, stretching their arms out attempting to grab at something that wasn't there. It was a slum of slums, slaves, drugs, trafficking by permanent residents, murder, gangs. This is where the rejects of society are thrown too, no one is safe in the NC Districts. The Protectorate pushed Daydario,
"Get a move on, bug, I don't want to stay out her f-"
The officer was interrupted by a starving child,
"S-sey - m-m -"
"Back off rat!" the Protectorate shouted as he pushed his headstock into the child's forehead, the child fell back, head slapping the concrete.
"I just had to get assigned here this week" the officer said as he looked around.

Resident Block 53

A young Citizen sat on a couch downing a carbonated soda drink quickly, he popped the bottle from his mouth as he let out a satisfying exhale, then wiped his mouth. He shouted into a gaming headset, as he held a controller in his hand,
"Yo get that guy - yo - yo he's one shot – one shot! N-no!!" he fell back, sinking into his unkept couch, which was as unkept as his hygiene, clothing, and home. Raging voices could be heard in the headset. The Clay Skinned Citizen was quite a large fellow, unbeknownst to him, his CoolDown phase had ended, meaning that it was time to get a job, whether he wanted one or not.

Suddenly the door was kicked in, he yelped like a prey's final last sound before doom was given to it, another large individual, this time clad in Protectorate Gear dove at him, the weight took the two crashing into the glass table before them, covering them in pile of forgotten bags of junk food and liquids. An Ancient walked through the door with her gun at the ready, she looked at the other Protectorate handcuffing the large citizen. Aradi looked at the mess and cringed, her place was always spotless, clean, dust was a form of contraband in her domain. This place made her want to call it a day and shower.

The other Protectorate: Ji-Jun, dug his knee into the Citizen,
"Futoi Shi, you make us look bad, why aren't you serving the Council?"
Futoi shi, the large Citizen, groaned in pain,
"I-I'm sorry, I forgot, and m-"
"Excuses, Futoi. This is the second time I had to come visit, you're lucky to be an E class Citizen, it doesn't matter if you have grace when you let your credit drop too low. Should've been taken to the NC Districts. Come on you slob, we're getting you a job" Ji-Jun said as he got up, Futoi lifted himself up. He turned to see a stunning sight, a human in his line of sight, his mouth dropped as he stared at the phenomenon. Aradi made an absolutely noticeable reaction, her cheeks suddenly bloated, a swift moment of air escaped her lips, her throat clenched as she turned and grabbed a trash bin, then a gag. Ji-Jun looked at her,
"Uhhh you ok there, Lieutenant?"

A saliva ridden exhale could be heard reverberating from inside the trash bin, she then dropped it,
"Yea, yea I'm fine"
Futoi stared in wonderment, ignoring the display of her screaming disgust of him,
"Y-you're a human! Like in Star Shooters 4!" the large Citizen shouted, Ji-Jun elbowed his backside,
"Shut up, Futoi"
"Oww - I - W-wait let - can I ask you, do humans really attract strange tiny microbes that eat their skin every night? Why do humans grow their hair back so fast, do they have - you know, nothing down there like us? I've never met a human before..."
As Futoi kept rambling, Aradi took her taser out and shot him without hesitation, his body vibrated for a few seconds, she then let go of the trigger before sighing in annoyance. Futoi swayed side to side of a second, held up by Ji-Jun,
"At least warn me next time" he said, Aradi didn't even meet his eyes before responding,
"I'll call in a clean team and write the rest of the report" she said.

As the 2 left the premises. The Elf stood there, breathing slowly, taking in the filth surrounding her, she then kicked the trash bin, the sound of the bin felt like a sting to the silence as the bin bounced around , she then pushed air out of her lungs, and walked out.

Aradi's home

Aradi sat on the couch stress eating a pack of PoPoes, a well tasty bag of chips, she was quite annoyed with how her body was, why was it always combative with the Council's systems? Why couldn't she assimilate? Questions that provided more stress than answers, therefore, it was something she would rather ignore, but still in the back of her head they would linger when situations arise that question her entire existence.

For as long as she could remember, her structure caused strange anomalies in technology, the events were incredibly random, sometimes interacting with technology was as smooth as butter, other times it was a brain wrecking experience, overall it perplexed scientists and doctors. A special GCID code was made for her to use. Generally GCID readers are a backend sort of technology since thumbprints and other variations of scanning are overall normalized in the Galactic Council.
