Lives with his wife and son. He returns home at 12:00 a.m. everyday. At home, his wife makes dinner for him and his son. After having dinner, Mr. Ghosh goes for sleep at 12:30 a.m.. During weekends, he has holidays from the office. Everyday, he wakes up at 8 a.m. and goes to office at 11:00 a.m.. Mr. Ghosh works as a manager in the HR Department of the MNC.
As always, Mr. Ghosh was returning home from his office through train. The train was crowded. After some stations, the crowd in the train started to lessen. Mr. Ghosh finally got a window seat.
After some stations, very soon the INTERCOM announced, "The next station is North 24 Parganas." Mr. Ghosh got ready to get down to his station. The train arrived at the station at 12:00 a.m.. Mr. Ghosh went down from the train. As it was night time, the train in which he boarded went to car shed. He knew that this was only the last train after which no more trains are available.
The station was drowned in shadows and silence. Mr. Ghosh started walking from the station. There was nobody at the station except some drunk people who were sitting still. Mr. Ghosh was curious that at night what the drunkards were doing there. Mr. Ghosh went closer towards them quietly.
As he went closer, he saw that they were drinking and gambling. Mr. Ghosh thought to walk away from there and go home because he knows that these drunkards will not leave him if they came to know that he was watching them.
While walking away from there to return home from the station, a train arrived at 12:05 a.m.. The train was giving negative vibes and dark aura. The interior of the train was dark and no light was visible. Mr. Ghosh thought, "Why a train came now at this time?" The drunkards boarded into the train and the train departed from there at 12:08 a.m. Mr. Ghosh brushed away the fact and thought, "What will I know by doing? I have returned to my station safe and sound." He started walking away from there.
After coming home from the station, Mr. Ghosh's wife took his bag and asked, "How was today's office?" He said, "Nice." Mr. Ghosh then went to wash his hands and feet. After washing, his wife prepared dinner for him. Very soon, his son also came to have dinner with his father. They had dinner and after having dinner, they went into their rooms to sleep. They slept at 12:30 a.m..
Mr. Ghosh was sleeping. Suddenly he dreamt that he was in a train whose interior was dark and the train was heading towards a station which was haunted. After arriving, he saw that there was a pile of dead bodies. Mr. Ghosh was screaming in his dream. By seeing that, Mr. Ghosh's sleep broke at midnight. He started sweating but saw that it was a nightmare. He woke up, drank water and then went back to sleep.
Next morning, the newspaper man yelling, "Newspaper, today's newspaper." He was distributing newspapers to each and every house. This was his business. Mr. Ghosh woke up, refreshed himself. His wife also woke up, made coffee for him and served him the daily newspaper. He sat and started reading the newspaper with a sip of coffee. On reading the newspaper, he found that men from station were missing from last night. Mr. Ghosh thought, "How?"
