It was a sunny Sunday in Kyoto, Japan. The birds were chirping; the green leaves danced to the breezy winds. A white-haired, thick girl was in bed. "Ah, shit. Do I have to get up?"
Meet Aokiya Shunichi-Byorabaev, a 17-year-old girl. She was born to a Japanese father and an Ingush mother. She woke up, her short, white hair a mess, her eyes tired as she donned a Mega Scrafty pajama set her mother bought her for Christmas. Her nightstand had a Momo Ayase Pop! figurine, a Mega Scrafty figurine, and some Yu-Gi-Oh GX toys she received from McDonald's a while back.
"I could go for some eggs and bacon right about now, with some Kewpie mayonnaise..." she said to herself.
Her father, Steven Shunichi, was on a burgundy couch, watching Animal Planet, whereas Annu Shunichi-Byorabaev, her mother, was cooking eggs, bacon, and croissants.
"Good morning," Aokiya greeted her parents.
"Good morning to you as well," her parents replied at the same time.
Aokiya sat at the wooden table, waiting for her food. "You need help with anything, Mom?"
"Not the cooking though, but after breakfast, your Dad wants you to get a 2-pack of chocolate chip cannolis." Annu put the plates of food on the table and started eating hers.
Aokiya went to get the Kewpie mayo; she squirted some on her eggs, and she mixed them up with her fork. "So, I start school tomorrow..."
"You might get a boyfriend." Annu cut her croissant open and put butter and grape jelly on it.
"I just hope he's not some sorry son of a bitch like the last one," Steven chimed in "or a thug." Her ex, a Nigerian immigrant named Charles Njuba, was her only ex. The two went for a date at a restaurant, and Charles left her with the bill, which is why she's been thinking about going single. She doesn't do the LGBT stuff though. Also, she never had sex.
"Do I have to have a boyfriend?" their daughter asked, slightly annoyed. "All he's gonna do is just treat me like crap like Charles the last one."
"You might find a decent man at school one day; you just gotta look. I mean, Kiyoya, your older brother, found himself a girlfriend, and he married her." Steven started eating his crispy bacon, the way he likes it.
Aokiya sighed and ate the last of her brekkie. "Maybe you're right..." she replied, putting her white, porcelain plate up. "I'm gonna go get dressed and go to Walmart to go get those cannolis."
Her parents nodded as their girl went upstairs to don her clothing. Fifteen minutes later, she came down in a Mega Scrafty hoodie and short denim shorts. "I'll see you guys later."
