Aokiya was on Facebook Messenger, doing a voice call with Ayumia. It was 4:30 in the morning. "And Shikhiro took up for me against this bullying faggot named Vinnie. He mopped the floor with that Italian bastard! I think I have feels for him; he seems like a keeper. He's better than Charles."
"Isn't he the guy who left you with a 200-yen bill that your parents had to pay for? Honestly, fuck that scumbag, giving Africans a bad name!" Ayumia found some mayo. "I'm making my bad-breath sandwich; it involves shrimp paste, pickles, raw onion, Jarlsburg, and mayonnaise."
"I'm staying away from you!" Aokiya laughed. "Also, for dinner, we had lamb-and-cheese khingal-bat, which are Dagestani dumplings cooked in ram's broth, and some khalva."
"I had Chick-fil-A for dinner after work, a 30-piece nugget with extra mayo on top; my parents weren't cooking tonight." Ayumia works at a small-business body shop, fixing cars. She had that job ever since she was 16; she's 18 now.
Aokiya went in her snack drawer and started noshing on a tuna-mayo rice ball she bought from 7-Eleven. She then received a text from Shikhiro. It read: "I'm sick; got a hold of some bad, bad kimbap..."
She sighed and told Ayumia, "Shikhiro's sick and won't be able to go to school today... I'll bring him some soup after school. Anyways, my mom's calling me. I'll see you in a few hours."
