Shikhiro was talking to Senshi Sorahi-Soradakis, his nerdy, Greek-Japanese, wimpy friend since elementary, on Messenger. The two became amigos after his blue-haired buddy defended him from a bully who snatched his Oreo cookies from him. "Well, I have a girlfriend now; her name is Aokiya. She's meaty and can put together a good soup and grilled cheese, by the way!"
"I think I take caligraphy with her." Senshi took his green phone and went to retrieve his red bean-and-neckbone soup, his favourite food his mom made him, out of the microwave. (Unlike Shikhiro, he doesn't have an interest in dating or sex, and he doesn't swear. Also, his father's Japanese and works in robotics, whereas his mother's Greek and works at a museum.)
"I think I'm gonna ask her to the homecoming dance, which is next Friday. Might also take her to that taqueria that Jonathan Gabacho's dad owns; I'm in the mood for some traditional tacos." Shikhiro unwrapped a SPAM-and-cheddar rice ball he bought from 7-Eleven and started biting into it.
"That place has the best burritos and menudo!" Senshi got excited from talking about the Mexican restaurant. "They even have fish stew."
"I get their tacos," Shikhiro replied "along with some menudo, some chips and salsa, and a glass-bottle Coke. I also get a buncha small containers of that red pepper paste that normally comes with my meal."
"So, you gonna marry Aokiya?" Senshi asked.
"We just met," his blue-eyed amigo laughed. "It would be nice to plan our future out though. I do wanna have children with her." He then yawned. "Well, I'm fully healed, thanks to her love."
"That's good. Anyways," Senshi said, eating the last of his soup "I'm going to hit the sack. I'll see you tomorrow."
