Chapter 15:
How One Was Kept and One Given Away
-----
Have you heard the tale of the Weiss twins?
Bound by blood, yet torn apart by fate.
From the same womb, born on the same day,
One was held close, while the other was sent away.
-----
Their tale started when their mother conceived,
Unaware that twins, she would receive.
So with trembling heart, she gave her daughter to another,
For she could not raise them both, only one she could foster.
-----
So when the mother gave birth to her twins,
She kept the boy and held him close within.
However, she gave her daughter to another's care,
Hoping that her child would live free from this life's despair.
-----
Well, that was what she thought, so she did not worry,
She sent the guardian's money, hoping it would provide,
Unaware that her daughter's guardians would let the money just slide.
Leaving her child to struggle, alone and with no guide.
-----
Despite it all, the girl still hoped,
That one day her mother would come and take her home.
She knew their lives were poor, so she had to endure,Holding on a little while longer, for her hope will reassure.
-----
From time to time, the mother visits her little girl,
She lets the twins play, their laughter in a swirl.
One day, the boy whispered, "When I grow up, I'll take you away."
And so the girl held that promise close in her heart to stay.
-----
Until one day, the mother met her future mate,
The kind man took her in; her child, he did not debate.
In the twins' ninth year, they planned to bring the girl home,
But fate intervened, and in an accident, they did not roam.
-----
The couple both perished on that fateful day,
Leaving their son orphaned, with no one to stay.
Meanwhile, the girl knew nothing of the sorrow and pain,
She waited for her mother and twin to be with her again.
-----
The girl waited, but no one came,
The days went by, as if they'd forgotten her name.
Until one night, the news came through,
Her twin brother had been taken by a wealthy old few.
-----
Only then did she learn her mother had passed away,
Yet she wondered why her twin could not take her away.
He lived a life of comfort, bright and fair,
While she struggled with little love, she was left in despair.
-----
"That's unfair," she told herself with anger and pain,
She was the one given away, yet nothing seemed to gain.
All she wanted was a home like his brother knew,
But it seemed fate could not give it to her, too.
-----
That's why she vowed, one day they'd meet once more,
Then she would claim the promises her brother had left before.
This time, she would not be abandoned nor betrayed,
Not even by the brother in whom her trust had stayed.
-----
But first, she had to clear the path ahead,
Remove the obstacles that kept her breath in check.
She began with the ones who raised her for years,
Who fed her body, but ignored her tears.
-----
One quiet night, the girl became a sinner's kind,
She found a twisted wonderland inside her beautiful mind.
With careless joy, she poisoned the cups, willfully blind,
By morning, those who raised her were left behind.
-----
The news of her crime spread far and wide,
The authorities searched, but she could not be spied.
She changed her hair, her clothes, her face,
And even abandoned her name, leaving no trace.
-----
Her madness did not end, it only grew,
In secret, she watched her twin, envious of all she knew.
Her brother thrived in joy, while she fought to survive,
In a world she had made, no hope was kept alive.
-----
If hope truly remains, she has but one desire,
To be with her twin and pull him into her hellish fire.
This is her revenge for the years of deny
She vowed, "Your life shall know no peace or light."
-----
There she began her long , sweet revenge,
Waiting for the chance to strike and avenge.
She spied on his brother, learning every part,
Even secrets that could shatter her brother's heart.
-----
Until she found the chance to step inside,
The very house where her twin resides.
There her desire, burning deep and true,
To steal the happiness his brother always knew.
-----
Now, before her brother, a twisted desire burned,
To erase his smile, yet she wished he'd returned.
She longed for him near, though her heart was torn,
And asked with a chill, "Me...or them...which have you sworn?"
-----
She knew her brother well—he'd choose the ones he loved,
And so her plan was set, no mercy from above.
"If you refuse to come with me," she coldly said,
"I'll end them instead, and your guilt will be your dread."
------
So this is the tale of the Weiss twins,
Bound by blood, yet torn apart by fate,
Their lives now rest at hatred's gate.
One will bear the pain, the other will walk revenge's way.
