Palma quietly ate her food. Though she tried her best to avoid the vegetables on her plate. Feeling uncomfortable, she used her metal fork to roll the steamed seaweed away from the other dishes.
Finally, after a very long silence, someone decided to break the ice.
"Oh. Have you been well lately, sister?" A women with curly ginger hair asked. She was staring at Nepella with a gentle smile.
Nepella noticed her staring and placed her cutlery on her plate. She picked up her napkin that was placed neatly on her lap and gently dabbed around her lips.
"I've been well, thank you, Yurella." She replied.
"Oh? I'm glade!" Yurella swelled. She placed her hand on her cheek like she had tasted something sweet.
She glanced over at Palma, who was sat at the very end of the table.
"Oh! I heard my little niece has started her training. Is that right?" She asked.
Nepella paused for a moment.
"Yes. That is correct." She replied.
"Aha... But my son has told me a really strange rumour is going around amongst the students lately." She scorned. She stared at Palma, grinning from ear to ear.
Hearing this Palma, flinched astonished by the fact that her Aunt had found out so quickly.
After seeing her reaction, Yurella looked back at Nepella, who was now glaring at her.
"What rumours?" She asked.
"Oh. Seth dear, why don't you tell Aunty Nepella what you heard in the training grounds today." She demanded. She gently stroked the back of the young boy's head.
The young boy nervously looked up at Nepella, who was coldly staring down at him. Her blue eyes felt as if he was looking at a sharp ice like sword. Chills ran down the boy's spine, in his eyes he was witnessing a vicious monster.
Tears started to form in his eyes, scared to say a word. But the boy was more scared of disappointing his mother more than anything.
"Umm... I heard t...that Palma has a violent t...temperament and t...that she causes t...trouble for the other students."
