I plonked myself down on the couch next to Noah.
“What do you mean, my socks don’t fit you? We wear the same size clothes, they should totally fit you.”
Noah sighed and handed me back my socks.
“Well, they really don’t. I’ve tried to squeeze my feet in them a couple times, but your socks are way too small.”
Angie sat down on the footstool.
“I don’t see why you’re surprised, Kari. With your tiny little cat feet, only Tina can fit into your socks.”
I grumbled at Angie.
“I don’t have tiny cat feet, I have totally normal feet. It’s everyone else’s feet that are ginormous.”
Angie smirked at me.
“If everyone else’s feet are bigger, doesn’t that mean that yours are weirdly teeny?”
I was getting extra grumbly now.
“Come’ere Noah, let me check out your feet!”
Noah tried to protest has I stood up and grabbed a hold of one of his ankles.
“Wait, Kari, no!”
Hoisting his foot up into the air and tipping his head down into the cushions of the couch, I lifted his limb up high enough for inspection.
“Dude! Why are your feet so huge?!”
With his neck kinked at an odd angle, and his head shoved deep into the couch cushions, Noah struggled to look at me and protest.
“I don’t have huge feet, they’re the same size as Jiro’s.”
I bugged my eyes out at him.
“Jiro is like a foot taller than you, that means your feet are huge!”
Noah scowled at me.
“Jiro isn’t that much taller than me.”
No, Jiro was six foot two, so that made him exactly a foot taller than both Noah and me.
The twins strolled into the living room and took a beat to stare at me holding Noah’s foot hostage.
Reno tilted his head to one side.
“What’s up with Kari’s new foot fetish?”
Angie snorted.
“She thinks her feet are normal sized.”
Vegas smirked.
“No, they’re itty bitty.”
I scowled and grumped and plopped myself back down onto the couch, squawking a protest.
“My feet are not itty bitty! They are totally normal sized. To-tal-ly!”
I whipped into the air one of my sock covered feet and held my palm against it’s sole.
“See, my feet are the same length as my hands.”
Angie gave me an incredulous look.
“Your hands and feet are not supposed to be the same size, Kari.”
I squawked in indignation to that.
“Of course they are, everyone knows that.”
What? Why was everyone shaking their heads?
Angie?
The twins?
I looked to my side for support.
Gasp!
Even Noah?!
