The music was already playing when Kyle walked in, loud and oddly upbeat, nothing like the usual songs he’d expect from a strip show.
But it didn’t stay on his mind for long.
His attention shifted the moment he noticed a slender figure seated at the center of the stage, turned away from the crowd. Long, blond hair was the first thing he noticed about Phoenix, falling down their back as they sat perfectly still.
Phoenix remained completely still even as the music kept playing, a choice that left part of the audience slightly irritated — though not everyone. There was one person in particular whose curiosity only kept growing.
When the first movement finally happened, the reaction was immediate. The room shifted into collective anticipation. Every motion was precise yet smooth, almost hypnotic in the way Phoenix moved, slow enough to command attention, controlled enough to hold it.
Blond hair. Just my type. With green eyes, she’d be the perfect woman.
Phoenix began to surrender more fully to the rhythm of the music, letting it guide each movement, and that was when the performance truly began. He rose to his feet, and the crowd was finally allowed a full view of a body sculpted like something unreal, almost dreamlike under the lights.
When Phoenix turned around at last, Kyle’s breath caught as his gaze locked onto the performer’s eyes.
Fuck. They’re green.
Then the realization hit. Kyle blinked, his mind scrambling to catch up.
Wait — that’s not a woman.
How is that even possible? With that kind of sensuality… How is he a man?
