Sword skills? There are 3 types of skills, sword skills, bow skills and magic skills.

Magic can be used with both bow and sword weapon classes but you cant use bow skills with sword skills so you have to swap your class which I don't recommend.

Oh it's easy go to your menu by saying menu then scroll to skill equip then equip them it tells you what to say to use it Yuma explains.
