Grégoire stood up from his desk and looked around the room. He noticed the layout was extremely similar to his old one. The bed next to the wall, his desk in the same spot as in his past room. As he noticed these small things, he sat down on his bed and looked at his hands, clenching them hard. He lay back down on the bed and tried to fall asleep. But he couldn't. So he stood up once more and walked down the hallway toward the stairs. As he did, he saw a small blur pass his eyesight. He looked where the blur was heading and saw a pencil-sized needle sticking in the wall. As he inspected it, he heard footsteps behind him, and a tall, slim, hooded figure appeared. As Grégoire clenched his eyes to see it better, it suddenly sprinted toward him and stabbed him in the stomach. Grégoire yelped in pain and grabbed a nearby vase, hitting the hooded figure and cracking it on its head. The figure went stiff. Grégoire kicked it off him and checked the wound. Then he heard a familiar voice. It was Charlie. Charlie: "SHUT UP!" He heard the door open, followed by a loud thud on the floor and a groan that was clearly Charlie's. Grégoire saw the hooded figure start to stand up. It picked Grégoire up and threw him out the window, making him land on concrete. As he did, he felt his arm dislocate from the shoulder, and Grégoire started to cry from the pain. He stood up and ran toward the gate to get out to the street. As soon as he got out of the manor, he sat down on the wet floor of the alleyway. He held the needle piercing his stomach and pulled it out with all his strength. He cried out as he finally ripped it out and threw it at a trash pile. He sat there in pain, but his quick rest was interrupted by familiar footsteps. He stood back up and tried to run, but he felt his foot stop moving. He looked down and saw a needle piercing his heel, pinning it to the floor. Two hooded figures dashed at Grégoire. Grégoire: "NO PLEASE STOP, PLEA-" The one he hit over the head picked him up, ripping his foot off the needle still attached. The hooded figure slammed Grégoire down, and they kicked him until he stopped breathing. It closed Grégoire's eyes and left the scene.
