Ren rolled his eyes slightly — as if he already knew Han was about to ruin the moment.

Damn it… why are you so impatient? Can’t you see I’m busy? he thought, forcing a thin smile.

Leo caught that irritation instantly.

A slow, satisfied smile formed on his lips as he lowered his head for a moment, then raised his eyes again with a teasing spark.

“You’re Ren, right?” he asked, running his tongue lightly over his lips.

Ren didn’t speak; he simply nodded.

“So…” Leo continued in a soft, flirtatious tone, “what do you think? Should we figure out which one of us could ‘kill’ the other?”

Ren felt heat rise through his chest.

Control was slipping.

“Hmmm… I think—” he began, but Han’s voice echoed loudly from afar.

Oh God… Why does he always show up at the worst time? Ren thought, jaw tightening.

Sensing the tension, Leo stepped back just a little—just enough to provoke him and read his reaction.

In an instant, Ren grabbed him firmly by the waist and pulled him close, voice low and commanding:

“You just made a wrong move. Your steps should only be forward.”

Leo, bold as ever, didn’t flinch.

“And what happens if I don’t?”

Ren didn’t break eye contact.

“What happens…? Do you want to try it and see?” he replied with quiet confidence.

The way he said it sent a shiver down Leo’s spine.

Do you think I’ll let you take control? Let’s see who bends first… Leo thought, smiling like he was planning something.

Ren still held him close, gaze sharp and steady.

Leo stared right back, refusing to look away.

The tension between them throbbed like a pulled string.

“Let’s do something,” Leo said calmly, eyes still locked on Ren’s.

Ren’s breath hitched slightly, but Leo continued after a playful pause:

“—Let’s exchange numbers.”

Ren realized exactly what game Leo was playing, but he didn’t mind at all.

Leo pulled out his phone and handed it to him.

“Don’t mess it up. Make sure it’s right,” he said with a teasing half-laugh.

“Alright, I’ll make sure,” Ren replied, calling his own number.

“And how should I save your name? Or should I write ‘Cute Devil’?”

Leo took the phone back, slipped it into his pocket, and whispered close to his ear:

“You can write ‘My Commander.’”

Ren let out a soft laugh.

“Erase that. That line doesn’t exist.”

“We’ll see,” Leo answered, tone just as low, just as provocative.

And again—Han’s voice tore the moment apart:

“REN!”

Ren snapped.

“Han, you poor thing,” he said, throwing the car keys toward him.

“Get in the car and wait—damn it!”

Han grabbed the keys in confusion.

What’s wrong with him today? he wondered while hurrying to the car.

Leo watched Ren’s irritation with a strange pleasure.

He loved how tense Ren was… and how much he tried to hide it.

“You should go now,” Leo told him softly. “And don’t forget to text me.”

Ren looked at him for a moment more, then smirked:

“If I forget… I’m sure you won’t.”

Their eyes finally broke away from each other, and Ren walked toward the car.

Leo stood there for a few seconds, touching his lip thoughtfully.

What was that?

“Let’s see where this leads,” he murmured, heading to his own car.

As soon as he opened the car door, his phone in his pocket vibrated

Leo noticed a message pop up on his phone, a smile spreading across his face—but he didn’t open it yet.

“Well… the game has just begun,” he whispered, settling into the car.
