Three separate tubes float in golden steam. STAN, FIRESLAYER, and PENTA have stopped falling, each trapped in their own.

STATIC STAN

FIRESLAYER
You want to die?

PENTA
You delayed, Stan. Now we're here.

STATIC STAN
You're lucky I've been here before.

FIRESLAYER

STATIC STAN
(Laughs bitterly)

PENTA

STATIC STAN
When I traded my soul, I fell here. And man... it was—

STATIC STAN
Amazing! Nostalgic memories, ghosts, a nice last meal. Then I got killed.

Silence.

STATIC STAN

(Voice small)

PENTA

Stan shrugs.

STATIC STAN

He looks up. His USB is falling through the golden steam.

STATIC STAN

Stan's legs glow blue. He jumps from his tube, runs along it, and leaps for the USB.

STATIC STAN

Fireslayer grabs Stan's leg. Penta grabs Fireslayer's.

STATIC STAN
Let me go!

FIRESLAYER
It's our only way out!

Stan glitches, electrocuting them. They fall back into their tubes.

STATIC STAN
So long, pawns!

He runs along the tube network, searching. Finds the sealed bridge—shattered, pieces floating in purple space.

STATIC STAN

He sees the glowing Coin Rush above, air swirling around it.

STATIC STAN
(Small tears falling)
I'm done using people as pawns. Done long ago. I'm not letting them become like Tick. I'm dying with them. That's what a friend does.

His leg-glow fades. He jumps back toward the golden hole.

As he falls in slow motion, screens flash around him: Stan and Tick arguing, laughing, hugging. His old show playing. The "We Stan" theme. Stan watches, eyes wide, crying joyfully.

STATIC STAN
(Smiling through tears)
Maybe it's time... to let go.

He falls into the golden light.

INT. MEMORY GARBAGE - DAY

A gray, trash-filled void. Fireslayer wakes, groaning.

FIRESLAYER
Where am I?

He sniffs the air.

FIRESLAYER
Smells like memories. I'm getting out.

Stan falls from above, landing on him.

STATIC STAN
(Screen loading)
Good heavens. Where?

Fireslayer shoves him off.

FIRESLAYER
Get off, TV-head!

STATIC STAN
The memory dump. Let me guide us out.

FIRESLAYER

STATIC STAN

(Mocking laugh)

Stan's eyes glow blue. Energy crackles from his fingers. He rises, hands lifting. Trash bags float up, then explode with blue electricity. A golden door materializes.

They walk toward the door.

INT. GARDEN - DAY

A peaceful, colorful garden. Penta rests on a giant flower.

Stan and Fireslayer arrive via portal.

STATIC STAN
I love this place!

Fireslayer shakes Penta's flower. It breaks. Penta falls. A swarm of bees rises, angry.

STATIC STAN
We're screwed.

FIRESLAYER
Can I call the gang now?

STATIC STAN
Are you a coward?

FIRESLAYER
I hate bees.

STATIC STAN
Give them what they love!

Stan grabs Penta, energy transforming him into a honeycomb. Bees swarm it. Stan uses static, bursting them away. Penta reforms.

STATIC STAN
Plan successful.

FIRESLAYER
How are you doing this?

STATIC STAN
Powers. You have them too.

A portal opens. They enter.

INT. JAIL CONTROL ROOM - NIGHT

Cheesy plays Pac-Man on a monitor.

No sign of Fireslayer.

(Glitching shout)

Fireslayer runs with his phone. Stan grabs him, slams him against a wall.

PENTA
Stan, we need—

Stan kicks Penta.

STATIC STAN
Shut up! Enjoy!

Fireslayer hits Stan with a book.

STATIC STAN
Stop!

Stan shoots static, electrocuting Fireslayer.

STATIC STAN
I've confirmed I—

Penta throws a chair at Stan's face. Color bars glitch across his screen.

Two PURPLE TROOPS appear.

PURPLE TROOP #1
Getting along?

Fireslayer blasts green energy at him. The troop becomes a skeleton.

PURPLE TROOP #2
We were sent by the Voice. Misbehave, and your deaths come faster. So behave—

Penta morphs into an arm, punches him. Fireslayer stomps him repeatedly.

PURPLE TROOP #2
(Distorted)
I'm calling it. D-Death.

He dies. Penta and Fireslayer high-five. Stan electrocutes them both. They faint.

Stan looks at them, panting angrily.

STATIC STAN
(Sighs)
I never wanted this. We were supposed to have fun. Maybe you don't want to enjoy. Maybe... every man for himself.

He sits.

STATIC STAN
I'm going back to the bridge. Remove these powers. Save myself. Save humanity. My portals aren't working. Maybe—

He gets electrocuted, drops. Vision blurs. Heart beats fast. He sees a ghost of TICK.

MR. TICK-A-CLOCK
(Faint)
Stan.

Stan pants fast. Sees Fireslayer and Penta looking concerned, voices faint.

STATIC STAN
(Weakly)
Getting powerless... Voice deciding my fate. Take me to the bridge. Get help.

He faints.

FIRESLAYER
What happened?

PENTA
The universe is disabling him. Making him weak. We need to plug the USB. Call the gang—now.

FIRESLAYER

PENTA

Fireslayer checks his phone.

FIRESLAYER

PENTA
I have signal.

Penta morphs into a phone. Fireslayer takes it, dials.

The gang eats dinner at a table.

I'm a rich boss.

CHEESEBURGER

Cheesy's phone rings.

CHEESY
Holy pizza noodles! Fireslayer!

Cheesy answers.

INT. UNIVERSE VOID - DAY

FIRESLAYER
Cheesy. Come to the universe. Rescue us. Stan's dying. We need help. I know you hate him, but... we're all here.

He hangs up.

They need rescue. In the universe.

A shadowy woman grabs Sir Drunkalot.

She slams him against the wall. Revealed: CREAMSWEET.

Sir Drunkalot gasps, kicks her down. Raises sword.

Fireslayer rides a bike (Penta-morphed). Stan lies weak in back.

Stan's dying if we don't.

Fireslayer revs, jumps toward a rotating diamond. Misses, falls.

FIRESLAYER
(Coughs)

Penta (as bike) morphs into a hammer, crushes the diamond. Pieces scatter.

FIRESLAYER
(Eyes reflecting)
Beautiful.

Penta throws Fireslayer into a hole, kicks Stan in, dives in after.

INT. SEALED BRIDGE - DAY

The bridge is repaired.

VOICE
Ah... this is the life.

A portal opens. Diamond pieces rain down.

VOICE
What's going on?!

Fireslayer lands. Penta falls into his hand. Stan lands, unconscious.

FIRESLAYER

FIRESLAYER

Stan wakes, vision clearing. Clutches USB.

STATIC STAN

PENTA

Stan stands, dances, spins Fireslayer.

STATIC STAN

He runs, climbs stairs, bows to the glowing golden Coin Rush.

STATIC STAN

Stan. You passed the golden hole. Didn't die. Impressive.

He holds up the glowing USB.

VOICE

(Smiling, crying)

Behind him, Fireslayer and Penta watch happily.

A claw emerges, reaches for them.

The ground shakes.

The claw breaks the bridge. Fireslayer and Penta jump toward Stan. The claw reveals itself: a giant golden shrimp with black eyes. It roars.

STATIC STAN
(Defeated)

FIRESLAYER
Who's that?

STATIC STAN
Haven't seen him in 25 years.

PENTA
Who?

STATIC STAN
The one who destroyed Cointropolis. Made Coin Rush come alive. The true destroyer. He's escaped.

FIRESLAYER
How?

Two Purple Troops appear, guarding the Coin.

PURPLE TROOP #1
Well, well. The violent guys.

PURPLE TROOP #2
You disobeyed universal law. We promised Death would kill you.

EVERYONE

STATIC STAN
The Voice—

PURPLE TROOP #1
We turned it off. We guard the Coin now.

STATIC STAN
Don't eat it! The universe will be in danger!

They throw the Coin to the shrimp. It swallows it.

PENTA
We're going to die.

The universe dims. Galaxies shake. Stars fall.

FIRESLAYER
Do something, Stan!

Stan looks at him, sighs.

STATIC STAN
Nothing we can do. This is the end.

FIRESLAYER
You can't say that.

A portal opens. A rope descends. The gang climbs down.

FIRESLAYER
We're saved!

Cheesy waves from the rope.

Come aboard! Is Stan alright?

Stan kneels, panting.

Ready to go?

STATIC STAN
(Determined)
No. I'm saving the universe. That's what I was meant to do.

He waves, runs toward the shrimp.

CHEESY
Hurry up!

Fireslayer grabs Cheesy's hand, climbs. Penta hesitates.

CHEESY

Stan aims a laser at the shrimp's eye. Music swells.

The gang screams from the rope.

FIRESLAYER

Stan throws the Coin back. The universe stabilizes. The gang cheers.

Stan hesitates.

STATIC STAN
I was born for fame, for the basement, to let go. I'm in my 50s. I've learned. But I'll be remembered for something important.

Penta smiles.

He jumps, morphs into a firewall.

CHEESEBURGER

CHEESY

Stan runs, electrocutes Penta to empower him, stands atop as a light.

STATIC STAN

They turn.

STATIC STAN
All good things end. I'm ending. Sorry for the lobby, the prison cult. But I saved the universe. That's what you'll remember.

The gang looks at each other.
