Chapter 7: The Beginning of the Journey: Facing the Legendary Beast Dhib
Jan 25, 2026
Zokaro and his family began their journey to the kingdom. The road was long, and Dazkor carried weapons to face the forest monsters.
The carriage was equipped with everything they might need, and the horses continued their path. Zokaro was happy; this was his first journey with his parents since the beginning of his new life and being deprived of going with them before the world changed.
Dazkor stopped to camp in the forest after ensuring the area was safe. The mother prepared the food for them and began feeding Zokaro porridge. After some time, he fell asleep to rest.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, they continued their journey toward the kingdom. But they moved alongside a completely destroyed forest, with traces of coal and smoke.
Despite that, they proceeded cautiously, as Dazkor and Rinma were vigilant.
Kalia: "Mom, what happened here?"
Rinma: "There are powerful legendary monsters that can easily destroy an entire kingdom."
Kalia: "Did they do this?"
Rinma: "Yes, it could be one of them."
Dazkor: "But do not worry, my daughter. After they destroy a place, they leave the land they ruined."
As they walked, Rinma felt a strong energy approaching them.
Rinma, terrified: "Did you feel that, Dazkor?"
Dazkor: "Yes, its power is at the legendary level."
Zokaro was thinking about which legendary monsters it could be, as there were many… but he hoped he would not meet the legendary beast Dhib.
Moments later, the ground shook violently with a powerful lightning strike, destroying the land before them. Dazkor stopped the carriage and prepared to fight. From the smoke emerged a beast resembling a wolf, with wings, its body red and glowing with lightning, emitting a red radiance, and massive in size.
It took a few steps toward them and said: "Listen, human… do you carry a small child in this carriage, called the Lord of the World?"
Dazkor and Rinma were shocked, not knowing what it meant. Kalia stepped forward: "I will not let you touch my brother!"
Rinma shouted: "Get out of the way, Kalia!"
Dhib’s eyes glowed, radiating red energy and destructive lightning around the area. It aimed a powerful strike at Kalia, leaving her stunned by its power and terrifying eyes, unable to move. Dazkor stepped forward to block Dhib’s attack from his daughter.
Dazkor’s energy flared black, surrounded by fiery energy like an angry tornado, to protect his daughter and repel Dhib.
But the beast Dhib launched a powerful lightning strike to counter Dazkor’s attack, causing a massive explosion.
Rinma used a magical energy barrier as a shield to protect herself and Zokaro.
Zokaro, meanwhile, was thinking about how to defeat this beast, feeling immense anger after everything that happened. Would his family end here?
He could do nothing, being powerless, watching his father fight and block Dhib’s attacks.
The place was filled with smoke, and flames swirled around them. Dhib advanced slowly, his massive power shaking the ground beneath him, and his eyes glowed with destructive flashes.
Dhib: "I have never faced a human like you, with a black aura level."
Dazkor’s forehead sweated as he tried to protect his family at all costs, standing firm, knowing this could be a fatal moment.
He shouted to his daughter to return beside her mother and said: "Rinma, I will keep it busy… you must escape quickly."
But Rinma refused to flee and stay behind him. Dazkor’s gaze was firm; it was the only choice.
Dazkor: "You must escape and take care of the children… I am sorry for leaving you with this difficult task."
In anger and hatred, Zokaro shouted one word: "Papa!"
His father turned to him, happy, as Zokaro had never called him since his birth. This was the first time.
The world ended the moment his story became real.
Zokaro was a failed novelist who poured his life into a world no one cared to read.
After finishing his story, he believed everything was finally over.
Then the world collapsed.
When he opened his eyes again, he was no longer who he once was—
reborn into the very world he had created, surrounded by familiar faces that were no longer the same.
Monsters he once imagined now roam freely.
Characters he wrote now shape reality.
And the ending he knows is one where no one survives.
Armed with forbidden knowledge, a body that refuses to break,
and a darkness that slowly awakens within him,
Zokaro must decide whether to follow the fate he wrote—
or destroy the world again to rewrite it.
