After Seth finished what he had said, the room went dead silent. Palma, feeling greatly troubled, placed her fork on her plate and moved her trembling hands under the table together on her lap.
Nepella calmly picked up her fork and poked it through a piece of grilled, seasoned fish.
"Is that so." She said. She slowly ate the fish she had placed on her fork.
"Oh? Are you not going to clear her name?" She asked.
Nepella paused. She looked up at her.
"Do you believe the rumors?" She asked.
Yurella flinched as if she didn't expect to be asked that question.
"No. Of course not." She replied.
"I see." She said. She gave a cold yet gentle smile.
She placed her napkin beside her plate while getting up from her seat. She silently left the tent.
Yurella stared at the empty seat like she was frozen in place. Her eyes wide open, like she had seen something unbelievable.
"Hah!" She laughed sarcastically. She clenched her teeth in remorse and dramatically left the table.
"We're leaving, Seth." She hissed. She stormed out of the tent, with the boy stumbling after her.
One hour later, In the dinning room tent...
Soon after Yurella's dramatic exit, everyone cautiously left one by one. Palma stayed seated.
She silently sat in the quiet empty room.
"Why? Why did mother react that way...?" She thought. She felt as if her mother didn't care about the rumor.
"Dose she not care what goes on in her daughter's life?" She muttered.
She gave a heavy sigh. Then she finally got up to retire to her tent.
Near Palma's tent...
As she was about to enter her tent, Palma caught eye of a suspicious figure lurking in the darkness. This person looked familiar.
