That was the first thing I felt.

Not pain. Not fear.

Just warmth-soft, steady, wrapping around me from all sides.

For a moment, I thought I was still dying.

The last thing I remember was seeing light slipping out of a hole.

I tried to open my eyes.

Light flooded in, too bright, too sharp. I squeezed them shut again, instinctively. My body felt strange. It felt light like I was wearing someone else's skin and I couldn't properly move my body although I could feel all my limbs attached.

What happened?

Where am I?

Then.

It all came back to me.

The terrorist attack.

The rescue plan.

Aiko falling on the ground.

The voice.

I felt a strange pain in my heart. I wanted to know what happened but then something comforted me.

Somehow I knew that all of my friends and Aiko were safe. That made me feel a bit at ease.

That was all that mattered at the moment.

So the voice did save them but what about me?

As I was trying to process what had happened, sounds reached me.

Is someone crying?

Muffled voices. Gentle. Unfamiliar.

A woman was crying. Not loudly-quiet tears, the kind that come from relief than sorrow.

"He's breathing... Naoki, look my baby boy is finally breathing."

The woman spoke with joy.

Another voice answered, rougher and lower.

"Easy... Easy now. He's okay."

"Kaito go and get Mr. Minato. Tell him it's urgent."

I couldn't understand what was going on. All of this strangeness made me a bit scared despite myself. And my body tensed up as I had no control over it.

Before I knew it I had started crying.

What? Is this me crying?

But then the woman slowly caressed me in her arms.

"There... There don't be scared."

Her words were soft and gentle. My body started to relax and I stopped crying. I knew that feeling, it was the feeling of a child being loved by his mother.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw a beautiful women. She almost looked like an angel and I instinctively felt an urge to cling on to her.

Mother.

These were the words that came in my heart as I took shelter.

Apparently it seemed like I was somehow reborn but I couldn't still think straight because of this overly sensative body.

Is this how every newborn feels?

The other man who was apparently my father made a funny face to try and cheer me up.

"Beluluaelie." 

But seeing him up close only made me feel more scared and weird. So I started crying again.

"Huh... Looks like the kid has already decided to be his mom's favourite."

He laughed.

Then a man came in wearing a green coat and some strange looking round spectacles.

"Oh, thank goodness you are here Mr. Minato. Please have a look."

The man took me in his arms gently like he knew what he was doing.

"Looks like a miracle Mr. and Mrs. Naoki."

Everything was okay because he seemed like a normal doctor till he placed his hand on my chest and it started glowing. I felt a strange warmth and I could feel my every nerve.

It seemed like he was examining me. But how?

Was this magic?

Where they hell am I?

And what is going on here?

And what type of debt am I to pay to the that voice?
