Chapter 8: The Submission of the Legendary Beast Dhib to Zokaro
Chapter 8: The Submission of the Legendary Beast Dhib to Zokaro
Jan 27, 2026
In those moments, Zokaro saw his father risking his life for them, a life that he and his family had begun anew in a world woven from fantasy. He did not know what to do and wished he could erase everything and rewrite a passage, a place free of monsters where he and his family could walk together.
But after a few moments, the system screen appeared before him.
System:
Welcome, Ruler.
Your first mission has begun.
It is to make the beast Dhib your assistant, for he is searching for a master to serve.
All you have to do is approach him with courage, and in this way you will save your entire family.
Zokaro was confused, not understanding what the system was talking about, but he found a way to protect his family, a chance, even if it came from a strange system.
While Rinma was holding him in her arms, he began pushing to make her let him go with all his strength, until he slipped from his mother’s hands and fell hard to the ground in pain.
His mother rushed to kneel and check his condition and whether his injury was serious. Even so, Zokaro did not give up. He stood on all four limbs and began moving as fast as he could toward his father, but his mother quickly grabbed him.
Rinma: "Kalia, come here quickly!"
As for Zokaro, he kept calling his father: "Papa, Papa!"
His cries grew louder, while Dazkor was going through a difficult time facing the beast Dhib, wishing he had a legendary weapon to be able to match his power.
As for Dhib, he considered Dazkor a mere toy. With sharp eyes, his aura flared like lightning, destroying everything around him. Even when Rinma activated a protective barrier, it vanished quickly.
The place was filled with destruction and thick smoke. Zokaro was lying on the ground, his mother beside him unconscious. In front of him, he saw two red eyes radiating terror, destruction, and predation.
Zokaro’s heartbeat accelerated, and his breathing tightened from fear. His small body was like a prison that restricted his movements, unable to do anything.
But he remembered the system, and that he had to win Dhib’s favor. He tried to sit up and balance himself so as not to fall. Then he looked at Dhib with strong eyes. Dhib looked back at him with strange eyes and then advanced toward him with heavy steps.
Dhib placed his forehead against the forehead of the infant Zokaro, making his body tremble from intense fear. Then a powerful glowing light appeared, causing a lightning mark to appear on Zokaro’s forehead, similar to the mark on Dhib’s own forehead.
Dhib raised his head high: "Can you hear me, human?"
Zokaro heard a voice inside his mind and did not understand what was happening.
Dhib: "I am speaking to you through telepathy… Do you understand what I am saying, or are you just an ordinary human growing slowly?"
Zokaro: "I hear you, beast Dhib."
Dhib was astonished, as Zokaro was the first boy who could speak with him through telepathy.
Dhib: "Boy, what is your name?"
Zokaro firmly: "My name is Zokaro… I know you are looking for a master to serve, because you have become bored since your power is great and all your opponents are weak."
Dhib: "You know why I am so strong… even legendary beasts are no match for me."
Silence filled Zokaro’s mind as he thought about what he had written in this story. There were many things he had written without reason, like Dhib, whom he made a beast that destroyed everything he saw and searched for strong opponents to enjoy himself, but without success.
Zokaro gathered his resolve: "Listen, I am the one who made you this way… You were born a lonely beast among the high mountains, alone, and I nurtured your abilities and strength until you became an invincible beast."
"But what do you think about becoming my assistant and me becoming your master… I promise you that one day I will find you a very powerful opponent, one that will require all your strength to defeat."
Dhib: "Is that all you have to say? I become your subordinate… You are truly the boy I saw in my dreams… You look very much like him."
"I think I must protect you until you grow up to become a powerful master."
Zokaro: "What do you mean… Do you agree?"
Dhib: "Yes, if it is of benefit."
Zokaro: "I have a request… Can you heal my father and sister whom you attacked?"
Dhib, with a look of confusion: "How do you know that I have a healing skill to treat others?"
Zokaro: "I know everything about you. You are a complete beast, and I am your master, of course."
Dhib smiled, his heart beating with happiness, as if saying: At last, I have found a master who understands me and understands my abilities, someone I will serve so that I will not feel bored, which will make me meet powerful opponents.
The world ended the moment his story became real.
Zokaro was a failed novelist who poured his life into a world no one cared to read.
After finishing his story, he believed everything was finally over.
Then the world collapsed.
When he opened his eyes again, he was no longer who he once was—
reborn into the very world he had created, surrounded by familiar faces that were no longer the same.
Monsters he once imagined now roam freely.
Characters he wrote now shape reality.
And the ending he knows is one where no one survives.
Armed with forbidden knowledge, a body that refuses to break,
and a darkness that slowly awakens within him,
Zokaro must decide whether to follow the fate he wrote—
or destroy the world again to rewrite it.
