The World After Its End: Rewritten

Chapter 10:

Chapter 10:

Chapter 10:

Dhib listened to Zokaro, telling them everything that should be said and what should not be said. He informed both Rinma and Dazkor that he would become Zokaro’s guardian from this day until death.

He explained that Zokaro was the child he had seen in his dream, the child who would become his master. He also explained that he treated their injuries because they were the parents of his master, and that was why he healed them before they lost their lives.

The minds of both Rinma and Dazkor could not comprehend the matter. How could a rare legendary beast like Dhib have their infant son as his master?

Dazkor: I have seen something like this before. The Kingdom of Riba possesses one of the legendary beasts and is able to control it.

Rinma, worried: But what does that have to do with my son? The most dangerous beasts—history books warn against approaching them no matter your level of power or the army you have. The moment you encounter one, you must flee.

Kalia: Mother, but I understood that my little brother is Dhib’s master… and you even saw my brother sleeping beside him, and the beast did not harm him at all.

Everyone looked at Zokaro. He was nervous; if he were able to speak, he would have communicated with them and explained everything, but all he could do was show the reaction of an ordinary child.

He began to move within his mother’s arms, wanting Dhib to carry him. The mother was nervous and did not know what to do.

Dazkor approached, took Zokaro from her, and stepped toward Dhib to observe the reaction of both of them. Zokaro looked at Dhib with his eyes as a signal.

Zokaro: Dhib, can you hear me? When my father approaches you, carry me on your back.

Dhib, nervously: Very well, my master.

Dazkor stood in front of Dhib, and each of them stared at the other with sharp eyes, blazing with fierce flames.

This made Zokaro intervene to prevent any fight or misunderstanding that might occur. He raised his hands upward toward Dhib. Dhib slowly lowered his head toward him, grasped Zokaro’s clothes with his mouth, and lifted him into the air.

This caused Rinma to panic, afraid that Zokaro might be harmed. Dhib placed Zokaro on his back, and Zokaro held onto his fur with his small hands so he would not fall, though he was firmly steady on his back.

Dhib raised his head high with overwhelming pride: From today on, I will follow you on your journey with my master… and I will also protect you from monsters.

Dazkor looked at him in confusion: That is impossible… if you enter a kingdom like this, it will cause an uproar, and we may become a target of a power-hungry king.

Dhib: And who is this king you speak of? Anyone who opposes me, I will destroy them all, even if it is that king you mentioned.

Kalia, Rinma, and Dazkor were shocked by his decision. He was stubborn about going with them, and every word he spoke was followed by insistence.

Zokaro remembered that Dhib possessed a transformation skill into the form of a small wolf, appearing weak in appearance, with his power suppressed, unable to use more than 10% of his strength.

Zokaro: Dhib, you can transform into a wolf. That way, you will convince them.

Dhib: Do you think this will work, my master? It has been a long time since I transformed into that weak form, but very well, I will try.

Dhib took Zokaro in his mouth and lifted him high, placing him back into his mother’s arms, then stepped backward.

Humans, step back a little… I have a trick I will perform.

They were all astonished and stepped back.

Then a powerful blue light radiated from him, illuminating the entire area. A surge of energy struck, releasing explosive beams of light that caused the ground’s smoke to thicken.

Rinma and Dazkor were amazed at what he was doing. As the smoke cleared, Dhib appeared in the form of a wolf, slightly larger in size, with eyes still glowing red and radiating great power.

Dhib: Now, may I go with you on this journey?

Rinma stepped toward him slowly, staring with fierce eyes: Very well, you may—but everything I tell you to do, you must do it.

Dhib, angrily: What? Who do you think you are, human?

Rinma, confidently: I am your master’s mother.

Dhib looked at Zokaro, who nodded his head, causing Dhib to agree to her decision.

After that, they gathered their belongings and organized everything remaining to continue the journey. Dhib became a member of this journey, heading toward the Kingdom of Riba.

The world ended the moment his story became real.
Zokaro was a failed novelist who poured his life into a world no one cared to read.
After finishing his story, he believed everything was finally over.
Then the world collapsed.
When he opened his eyes again, he was no longer who he once was—
reborn into the very world he had created, surrounded by familiar faces that were no longer the same.
Monsters he once imagined now roam freely.
Characters he wrote now shape reality.
And the ending he knows is one where no one survives.
Armed with forbidden knowledge, a body that refuses to break,
and a darkness that slowly awakens within him,
Zokaro must decide whether to follow the fate he wrote—
or destroy the world again to rewrite it.
