An ordinary apartment.
A normal bedroom under warm lighting, neat and tidy—just like its owner.
Well, everything was fine.
Except for the fact that I had shrunk down to the size of a bean—
No, a bug.
“So… you’re really Cia from Class 2, right?”
Just hearing the question drained me.
The fact that I even had to prove I was Cia…
“Yeah.”
“N-no way!”
June stared at me in shock after my calm reply.
His hands trembled slightly.
That small shaking showed just how shaken he was.
And honestly, it made sense.
Anyone would think this was impossible.
A person suddenly shrinking down to the size of a bug?
“...I see.”
It looked like he had finally calmed down enough to speak.
“I’ve believed since I was little that something like this existed.”
June said it with a strange expression—half excited, almost thrilled.
It came out of nowhere.
Why was he suddenly talking about his childhood?
What did he mean, something like this existed?
I couldn’t follow.
Still confused, something caught my eye.
The mug—the one that had trapped me.
My reflection showed faintly on the surface.
Blurry, but clear enough to make out the shape.
There were wings.
On my back.
I didn’t know when they had appeared, but they looked like they had always been there—butterfly wings.
No wonder he mistook me for a bug.
But who looks at a bug with excitement and starts talking about their childhood?
I leaned closer to the mug and studied my reflection.
A tiny person with butterfly wings…
Wait.
‘Come on… it’s not that weird. Maybe I just look like a cute little fairy or something—’
“An alien!”
June shouted.
