But time passed… and more time. Sana fell in love with Fura but didn’t show it until the sixth grade. She became more shy and closed off. Fura didn’t know what had happened, so he kept trying to understand, but unsuccessfully—until that one day. The day that changed all his feelings and his life.
That day started with Fura asking Sana all those questions about what was wrong, until she finally screamed. That scream echoed throughout the entire school. She confessed: “THE THING THAT HAPPENED IS THAT I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?”
Then she just walked away. Fura didn’t know how to react, but he ran after her, telling her they could still be close friends. But Sana just said: “No, I don’t want to see you ever again.”
Those words hurt his heart, but he answered: “So why do you love me if you don’t want to see me ever again? Huh? It’s either friends or nothing—not dating. I told everyone I’m not interested in relationships at this age, in case you didn’t know, girlie.”
She just answered: “Nothing is better than dating you.”
Then she walked away while Fura remained there, standing.
After that day, there wasn’t even a trace of her. When Fura asked the teacher where Sana was, she told him that Sana had moved to another country and changed schools. Perfect. Fura hadn’t even saved her number because they were just friends—but after that confession, he didn’t even consider her existence. Still, without her, all his days became lonely.
Also, I want to tell you that Fura had like ten or eleven brothers and sisters. Because his real mother had four kids in her family, her ex had two with her in his family, then his father had three kids in his family, and then his ex had two in her family. Impressive.
