The year is 2345, and the world is gripped with unending gang violence and crime. Illegal activity has become so prolific and normalized that everyone has sliced out their own criminal niches. As new criminal organizations form, crime becomes the dictating force behind world affairs now. Cities become consumed by the crime families' influence.
And no place is it more apparent than in Ripulce City. The city's island is situated on the route of one of the world's most important shipping lanes. The city has become the stopping point for the largest industry of shipping, manufacturing, and trade in the world. In Ripulce City, the wealthiest of the fattened corporate elites reside next to the drugged-up cybernetic freaks of the street gangs, trying to make a quick buck.
Its in this environment we follow Ashe, a "normal" student attending the Academy at the center of the cities heart. West Pecunia Crest Academia, heralded as the most prestigious academy in the world. Ashe tries to blend in as a new exchange student while trying to stick to her contracted mission. Her boss, Ivan Ginson, seems convinced that there is a deeper mystery going on behind the shadows of the cities colorful exterior. Has the old man gone mad or is there really some sort of plot going on in the world's most politically charged and economically important city? Will Ashe be able to overcome her past and find out?
