Gin: "That is how it goes, but still, this is just a legend; it is not real." Mazuki: "But what if what you just said is actually true? What if that thing is really what I saw?" Gin: "Such a thing is not possible." Mazuki: "What if it is real?! Look, Gin, I came here to take revenge for my family. I don't have time to waste on such ridiculous games." Ren: "Mazuki, enough! Do not vent your anger on people for no reason."

Mazuki rose from the table in anger and left. Although Ren tried to stop him, Gin caught him by the arm, looked at him, and shook his head. Ren ran after Mazuki and caught up to him. Ren: "Hey Mazuki, where are you going?" Mazuki: "To my home, to Kiro." Ren: "You don't understand, Apex knows you now. The moment you go there, they will capture you." Mazuki: "I don't care! There is something very important to me that I must get." Ren: "Fine Mazuki, first thing tomorrow we will go and get that important thing, I promise."

Mazuki realized what Ren said was somewhat logical and accepted his offer. Evening came, and everyone went to their rooms to sleep, but Mazuki still had his family and that demon inside him on his mind. Mazuki closed his eyes. After some time passed, when he opened his eyes, he found himself lying in the middle of a field. When he stood up, he realized he was in the middle of a vast field. While Mazuki was investigating the surroundings, he suddenly heard someone calling him. "Mazuki help me! Mazuki my son, help me!" Mazuki replied with great astonishment: "Mother? Is that you, mother?" "Mazuki my son, help me!"

Mazuki began to run quickly toward the voice. Mazuki was running and shouting toward his mother's voice, while his mother was calling for help. Just as Mazuki finished the field and approached the voice, he could not believe what he saw; his blood turned to ice. Right in front of Mazuki, three poles were planted, and on top of the poles, the severed heads of his father, his mother, and his sibling were impaled. Mazuki fell to his knees before this sight and could not restrain his tears. "Mother, Father, Suzuri..."

At that moment, his mother, whose head was impaled on the pole, turned her face toward him. Calling out to him in a terrifying way, she said that he had driven them to their deaths. After seeing his mother in this state, Mazuki began to pull back in fear. His mother kept saying the same words over and over: "Because of you, because of you, because of you..." Mazuki: "No, I didn't do anything, NO I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

Mazuki jumped up in his bed in a panic and looked at the clock (03:23). Mazuki: "It was all just a nightmare."

Mazuki got out of bed and changed his clothes. He went down to the garage, started Gin's car, and left the headquarters. While Mazuki was driving on the road, he was thinking that he had never seen such a strange nightmare before; in the past, he would always see his father's death.

Mazuki reaches the gates of Kiro town by car. The Apex soldiers there stop the car for a security check. Later, when the soldiers realize the car belongs to the Katari Manor, they let the car go. Since the inside of the car cannot be seen from the outside, they do not see Mazuki. Mazuki passes through the dirty streets of Kiro and comes in front of his house. Mazuki gets out of the car and runs into the house, but from the roof, a soldier dressed in black with his face invisible gives instructions via radio: "He has arrived home."

Mazuki goes inside. Apex soldiers have ransacked and plundered everywhere. Mazuki lifts the belongings and covers; finally, he finds the photograph with his family. He wipes the dust off the photo and kisses it. "I will never leave you alone again." Mazuki presses the photo to his chest.

At this moment, light bombs (flashbangs) are thrown in through the windows. Before Mazuki could understand the situation, Apex soldiers break down the door and enter. "Down, down, get on the ground!" Mazuki: "Dammit!"

While Mazuki was trying to escape through the back door, Minamoto Sota and Kurogane Haruto appeared before him. Mazuki fell backward to the ground. While Sota and Haruto were approaching him, Mazuki was moving away from them. Haruto reached for his waist and pulled out a large hammer. A green aura appeared around his body, and he began to transfer his aura into the hammer. He quickly landed a blow on Mazuki with the hammer. With the impact of the blow, Mazuki was thrown out of the house. The walls of the house all collapsed. Mazuki crashed into Gin's car outside. His body was covered in wounds, and he was vomiting blood.

Haruto: "So, you are the much-talked-about Mazuki." Mazuki: "You, Kurogane Haruto." Haruto: "Hmm, you've studied your lesson well." Sota: "Look, look, look, how our little prey fell into the trap. Honestly, I didn't think you were this stupid, Orahata Mazuki." Mazuki: "You piece of shit, how quickly you forgot begging for your life."

Sota lands a punch on Mazuki's stomach and then another one; his anger does not subside. With his red Vayen, he draws water from all the water sources around him, collects them in his hand, and turns them into a sharp piece of ice. Mazuki: "Impressive power, but you don't think this will do anything to me, do you?"

Sota transfers a portion of his Vayen into the piece of ice and stabs it into Mazuki's stomach. The ice suddenly grows; Mazuki's body and the car he crashed into are shattered. Haruto swings his hammer and lands another blow on Mazuki. Mazuki glides through the air and crashes to the ground. Mazuki: "Ah, I'm losing consciousness. Why? Why? Why am I always alone? Mother, father, Suzuri, I'm sorry, I couldn't take your revenge."

Even though Mazuki was beginning to lose consciousness, he noticed a warmth on his chest. It was the star-patterned necklace. He reached for the necklace and looked at it; the necklace was shining brightly. When Mazuki looked at the necklace, he remembered the words Ren had said before: "This necklace is a legacy from your father."

Sota and Haruto began running toward Mazuki to deliver the final blows. They were coming at Mazuki from both sides. In pain, Mazuki managed to calm himself, even if with difficulty. "STAR X"

A white aura appeared in front of the attacking Haruto and Sota. This white aura enveloped Mazuki's body, and an explosion occurred. Sota and Haruto were thrown aside by the impact of the explosion. Starting from Mazuki's legs, a metal armor began to appear. His arms, fingers, body—all were covered with this bright white armor. Sota looked on in amazement at what he saw. Sota: "What is this now, you little piece of shit?"

Mazuki was also amazed himself, but first, he had things to take care of. "This is a legacy to me, and this thing will be your end. All of the Apex Order will kneel."

At this moment, Haruto suddenly appeared behind Mazuki and swung his hammer toward him. Mazuki was thrown into the air by the hammer's blow and fell to the ground. Mazuki: "So you have no fighting respect; you like to behave barbarically. Fine, so be it."

The armor covered Mazuki's face as well, and he slowly drew the white katana at his waist from its sheath. As the sword came out of the sheath, it radiated light like a starburst. Mazuki: "This white katana brought light to this night, but I cannot say the same for your fate." Haruto: "You talk a big game; let's see if you are as good at fighting."

Haruto gathered all his Vayen and transferred it all into his hammer. Similarly, Sota gathered all his Vayen, and a mass of ice formed under his feet. Haruto attacked Mazuki even faster than before. Mazuki quickly dodged Haruto's blow, but the handle of the hammer extended and landed a blow on Mazuki's stomach. Although Mazuki staggered from the impact, he quickly corrected his stance and went on the offensive. Even though Haruto swung his hammer, Mazuki stopped him with his katana. But this time, Sota's ice arrows were coming toward Mazuki from the right side. Although Mazuki tried to avoid the arrows, some of them pierced him, and the places where the arrows pierced were also covered in ice. At this moment, Haruto landed a powerful hammer blow on Mazuki. The hammer gave an explosion effect and threw Mazuki against the trunk of a tree. Mazuki stood up and held the sword with both hands, standing before Haruto and Sota.

Sota: "What happened, you little son of a bitch? You were talking big, what happened?" Haruto: "It was just empty words from empty armor." Sota finds a photograph under his foot. This was Mazuki's family photo. Sota: "Hah? What's this? Look who's here." Mazuki: "Leave that alone, you bastard!" Sota: "Let's see who is here... is this little girl your sister? She's quite sweet; I wish I had enjoyed the pleasure of killing her myself."

After Sota's words, the image of his little sister's burnt corpse appeared before Mazuki's eyes. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

Mazuki quickly moved behind Sota. He had taken the family photo from Sota's hand. Before Sota could even understand what was happening, he began to feel pain all over his body, and suddenly, blood began to gush from everywhere on Sota. Seeing this, Haruto tried to attack Mazuki. Haruto made his hammer even larger with his Vayen and hit Mazuki. But something strange happened; Haruto could not believe what he saw with his eyes. Nothing had happened to Mazuki. Haruto landed another powerful blow; again, the same result. Nothing happened to Mazuki. Haruto landed blows on Mazuki repeatedly, but Mazuki neither budged nor was wounded. Finally, as Haruto was about to strike again, Mazuki swung one last time and broke the hammer in two. After seeing the hammer in his hand shattered, Haruto fell to the ground in fear and amazement. Mazuki was stepping toward him.

Haruto: "Soldiers, attack!" The Apex soldiers opened fire on Mazuki with their high-tech weapons and attacked him. Mazuki dodged the laser bullets and cut down the soldiers one by one with his katana. Finally, an armored vehicle came; there was a rocket launcher on top of the vehicle. While the rocket was locked onto Mazuki, he approached the armored vehicle with quick steps, and the rocket could not fully detect Mazuki's position. Mazuki jumped over the vehicle and split the car in two with his sword, and the vehicle exploded. Mazuki made sure there were no soldiers left around and walked toward Haruto. The wounded Haruto on the ground looked at him with hope, but this was not for his own life.

Haruto: "You're going to kill me, I know, but I have one last request from you." Mazuki: "Fine, tell me your request." Mazuki removed the head part of his armor. His white hair was waving in the wind, and his deep blue eyes were looking at Haruto. Haruto: "Thank you for showing your face while talking to me. You truly have fighting respect." Mazuki: "What is your request?" Haruto: "You're right, it doesn't feel quite right to chat with a person who tried to kill you, but believe me, I would do it again for my family." Mazuki: "That's enough idle talk."

Just as Mazuki was about to stab his sword into Haruto who was lying on the ground, a voice message from Haruto's mother comes to his phone. "My dear son, buy me some cake on your way back, I'm really craving it. Also, I made that cherry blossom tea you love so much."

After this voice message, Mazuki's arms seemed to freeze. An old memory came to life. His mother sends Mazuki to the market; at this time, his little sister Suzuri tells Mazuki to buy a small slice of cake on his way back and that she will prepare tea for him.

Mazuki pulls the sword away from Haruto and, taking the family photo on the ground, moves away from there. Haruto shouts at him: "Hey, what happened? Where are you going? Kill me!"

Mazuki quickly moved away from there. Even though Haruto was wounded, he slowly stood up and replied to his mother's message. "Okay mother, I'll buy it on my way back. I love you so much, mother. And I guess others love their families very much too." Saying this, he looks in the direction where Mazuki went.
