This is my third attempt at starting this comic, and I think I've finally found an art style I like. This is my passion project, and I have plans for years and years of stories—I like drawing comics better than I like writing books, you see. Hope you enjoy. Stay tuned.
In olden times, especially thick and powerful pieces of armor were crafted to withstand every sort of trauma. The dents that the testing created were the proof. Then firearms came, and they were more powerful, and so the armor was crafted to withstand them, and when they were shot, that dent became known as the bullet proof. This story follows Nerys, a girl who is the victim of terrible misfortune, and who will conquer every one of these, her labours, *her* "bullet proof."
This comic is inspired by the likes of Crime and Punishment, Les Miserables, and other literature that reflect at length on the human condition. It is also inspired by The Decemberists and The Crane Wives. Ultimately, it is an uplifting story. Please believe that.
