On the Day of Judgment, the Prophet taught, the earth will speak, the limbs will bear witness, and even stones will testify. Perhaps this little stone will stand before the Throne and say, “O Lord, I feared You before man did, and I loved You before they knew how.”
Prophet Muhammad SAW once said, “I know a stone in Makkah that used to greet me before Prophethood” (Sahih Muslim).
This world is alive with remembrance — rocks, trees, clouds. All submit, and some weep. The stone that wept from fear, then from love, teaches us the path from trembling hearts to burning hearts — burning with longing for Allah SWT.
Let our hearts be like that stone: first broken by awe, then melted by love. For Allah SWT is not only the One to be feared, but the One to be loved beyond all limits — the Creator of the Universe, and the Eternal Beloved of all creation.
