“School huh”
talking to himself Snow thought of all the education he’d ever received in his life, had things stayed a course he’d probably be sculpting and forging weapons, armor, jewelry and things.
The feeling of sometimes missing a life he had hated, while relishing and dreading a new one was odd…
Maybe missing his old life was the wrong saying, he possessed a home far nicer and power far greater than ever before, maybe he really just missed the world that old life was in. His world.
“Sure is a nice view huh?, I personally prefer it from the inside.”
Snow deactivated king's blindfold before getting to the gates, so he didn't sense this person approaching him, lost in thought.
“It is a nice view. But I can't speak for how it looks on the inside”
The young man who’d spoken to him was a bit shorter than Snow, most likely around the same age. His skin was fair, his hair black and messy with a red bow tied to a lock of hair on the side.
His face was soft and doll-like, small stitches were tattooed across the bridge of his nose. And lastly his eyes were hollow and cherry red catching the sunlight slightly.
Smiling at Snow's reply the young man continued.
“One look at a beautiful view can shape hundreds if not thousands of ideas. So that means the view in itself is the story of stories. To look away is to end that view's story for a time. I think that's pretty bitter sweet.”
Turning to fully look at the young man next too him snow cocked his eyebrow.
“Are you quoting a fantasy novel?”
Snow read a lot of things as of late… including the things maybe not so fit informational.
The young man's eyes widened and his mouth fell open, his cheeks rising into a smile.
“MARRY ME!!,YOU LOOK CLOSE TO A GIRL
THAT'S ENOUGH FOR ME.”
“goodbye.”
Snow began a pace through the gate. A weirdo at the front gate was a bit cliché. But everyone had a right to an education. Pretending not to hear the shouts behind him, snow examined the school. It was beautiful in design and extremely large;
It resembled a very old form of architecture known as victorian. It was starkly white with golden ascents that gleamed light from the sun, also beautifully landscaped with a myriad of trees and plants throughout.
Finding the entrance was simple since the path was laid out directly to it. Inside most things appeared to be wood and concrete. With intricate engraving all through. A reception desk wasn't far from the entrance. A young lady with pink hair and eyes stood patiently at the desk.
“Good afternoon, student how can I help you”
Pulling out the identification card snow replied;
“ It's my first time ever coming here, I'd appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.
Taking the card she studied it, while touching a screen imbedded in the desks frame
“I see yes ok, just head right down that hall over there room A25, their are usually penalties for absences; especially ones this long. But you seem to be a special case. But instructors here have complete agency over all their classes so I'd expect a penalty from one or all your instructors.”
“I see, thank you.”
A penalty sounded like a hassle. But it was best he didn’t stress over it and just stayed ready for anything. Walking down the hall she’d told him.
it only took a few minutes to reach the class room she’d told him. A very unassuming door stood before him, plain in every way. But Snow had a bad feeling despite his earlier caution to himself.
When he stepped closer the door opened inward ushering him in. When he stepped in the room was completely gray and plain the walls and ceiling all extremely wide and high
“7 months, that’s a new record kid, probably the only one that lengthy to ever exist.”
A man was standing in the middle of the room, his back towards Snow. He was still a bit far away, so how his voice sounded so close and clear was a mystery.
“I apologize if you feel offended, I have my reasons…”
Turning around the man revealed himself fully to Snow, he was dressed in simple pants and a white shirt , his eyes were blue and hair was brown. A very unassuming man, regular.
But he was clearly an instructor and that meant he was far more powerful than Snow.
The man didn’t reply to Snow prompting him to narrow his eyes.
“Do you intend to give me some kind of penalty?”
“ maybe.”
“You say you have reasons, that’s quite a vague statement . So I’ve decided all my statements from now on will be vague too. But I’ll give you one straight answer to a question you might have, I don’t think you deserve to be in my class.”
Feeling a bit of animosity from this instructor in the last sentence, Snow began to watch his body language.
“ I see, and you intend to prove this then”
The instructor smiled
“You catch one Quick at least”
Snow began to take off all his jewelry, placing them inside his coat, dropping them both to the floor. And began to roll up his sleeves.
But as soon as snow tried to get into a stance the instructor was already upon him.
