William has multiple personality disorder, and Willis is one of his main alters, an evil cornucopia of all his darkest desires and temptations. In order to get rid of him, however, William created a potion that ended up amplifying the wily creature, allowing Willis to have his own physical form as well. Lansing is one of William's closest friends, but detests Willis with a burning passion.
It is the year 1886; inventions and scientific advances shaping our world to be the economical mastermind that it was originally destined to become. Doctor William Robert Denmark always dreamed to be among one of the prestigious scientists displayed across his morning paper, but suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder, one of the first known cases of it. Seeking solace and trying to make a name out of himself, he experiments with alchemy, causing himself and one of his main alters to form into two separate beings, coexisting within one brain. The other, Willis Haywit, is a dastardly spirit with no intentions of keeping William's reputation intact.
As murders spread across the globe, all relating to Willis himself, William is involved in a desperate race against time to stop his other self, not knowing that in the end it will mean he has to give up something very dear to his heart.
