“Are you okay?” Emily said with a worried voice.

“I’m okay.”

She helped her get up.

Some boys came running toward them. They immediately bowed upon seeing them.

“We are sorry, Your Highness. We didn’t intend to hurt you.”

They all started apologizing to Bella.

“I-it’s okay. I’m totally fine.”

“But why are you training here?” Emily said in an angry voice.

Their faces turned pale under Emily’s sharp gaze.

They all looked at each other when a boy with red hair stepped forward.

“It’s because of him.” He pointed at the boy who saved Bella.

“He told us to practice here. You should punish him, Your Highness.”

“You, bow down and apologize to the princess.”

They pushed him to apologize.

“I’m saying it’s okay. It’s not a big deal. And…”

Bella held that boy’s hand.

“Thank you for saving me.”

The boy didn’t say anything and quickly left the place.

Palace Training Ground

“Are you trying to act like a hero in front of the princess?”

The same boys who had been kneeling before the princess started hitting the boy who had saved her.

The boy didn’t say anything. Not a single sound of pain came out.

They grew angrier and started hitting him again.

“Go and bring us a snake, you dirt.”

WHAM! A strong punch landed on the boy’s face.

The boy fell to the ground as tears made their way down.

“Who? H-how dare you?”

“It’s me, you jerk.”

The boy looked up and saw Bella standing in front of him.

“P-princess.”

I knew it. The bruse in that boy hand was not from training. It was made my someone.

That was very strange when I looked at him.

Bella gave him a sharp look before turning to the boy.

She held out her hand to him and said,

“Don’t worry. Everything is fine. No one can hurt you now.”

He looked at her with an amazed expression before holding her hand.

She helped him stand up.

Bella turned and gave the boys a sharp look once again.

“If I ever see you bullying again, it won’t be good for you.”

They got scared and nodded instantly.

Bella took his hand and left the place.

Bella was applying medicine to his injuries.

He sat quietly beside her, glancing at her.

“You don’t have to worry. They won’t hurt you anymore.”

She smiled brightly.

His ears turned red.

“Th-thank you.”

“Huh!”

He spoke.

He became embarrassed because of her reaction.

He got up quickly.

“I will definitely remember the princess’s kindness. I will take my leave now.”

With that, he left the place immediately.

What a strange kid. I didn’t even ask his name.

Bella took a step back in fear.

“You… you brat. Because of you, my whole life was destroyed. Now you won’t live happily.”

She started to laugh like a maniac.
