The two days Lorenzo and Mercer took off to help set up for the party were absolute hell. Mercer ignored Lorenzo the whole time and barely spoke the time that there were there. Lorenzo tried to talk to him, but every time he did Mercer walked away. He even offered to take Mercer home but before he could ask he was already gone. It got to the point where his father was asking what was wrong. Lorenzo was slowly going insane, he was even thinking about skipping town and not going tot he party. Despite this, he pushed through and came up with a plan.

Maybe he could find a way to dance with Mercer at the party or find a change to talk to him alone; in private. But the most important thing to Lorenzo was making sure Mercer was okay and that what they had wasn’t going to break. He also needed to tell him he was NOT going to marry some random girl and choose Mercer over everything.
