Soundscape:
[The roar of collapsing skyscrapers. Sirens wailing in the distance, swallowed by the crackle of black flames devouring the city. Wind howling through shattered towers. The low, ominous pulse of corrupted Divine Energy shaking the earth. Distant screams fading into silence.]
Tokyo, Three Years Later...
The city burned.
Shibuya Crossing, once a heartbeat of neon and life, lay cracked and silent, screens flickering dying advertisements into pools of black fire.
Skyscrapers leaned like broken teeth.
The sky itself bled violet and shadow.
Four figures stood on the shattered rooftop of what remained of Tokyo Tower, wind whipping cloaks and hair.
Kasane Arisato who is now older now, wiser, hair longer, falling past her shoulders in dark waves.
Her face is calm, collected.
Eyes steady, but carrying the weight of everything lost.
Lightning blue, pure coiled faintly around her katana, resting at her side.
Beside her: the boy, eyes hard with urgency.
The woman silver hair streaked with violet, gaze distant, glowing faintly with clairvoyant light.
The man cloak torn, posture still defiant despite the ruin.
They looked down at the ruins of Tokyo.
Kasane (voice quiet, steady):
“...How did things get this bad?”
The boy grip tightened on his weapon.
Boy (low, urgent):
“We can’t waste time asking that now Kasane.
We need to find her immediately.
Eliminate them both once and for all.”
The woman stepped forward eyes glowing brighter, voice soft but clear.
Woman:
“I’ll guide you.
Clairvoyance backup. I can feed you all all the intel as much as I can.
I can see their divine energy… but they’re fading fast.”
The man pushed off the railing— sunglasses glinting.
Man:
“Then I’m with you two.
Someone’s gotta keep you two from doing something stupid.”
Kasane looked at them her team.
The only ones left.
Kasane (monologue, soft, resolute):
This is where it ends.
Or where it should have ended.
But this story…
It began three years ago.
The wind howled louder.
Black flames rose higher in the distance.
Kasane turned from the view.
Kasane (quiet):
“Let’s go.”
They stepped into the shadows together.
The ruined city watched.
Kasane (monologue, fading):
Three years ago…
I stepped off a train into Shibuya.
Alone.
Carrying only ashes and questions.
I never imagined…this is where the answers would lead.
