Thanks everyone for checking out the first chapter of Mid Soul! I'm excited to show a new section of the Cemetery Island - Gray Gate - and a new character is set to appear in Chapter 2! We gotta go meet that Grim Reaper!
For this week's Bonus Art, here's a Style-Challenge I gave myself a while back, trying to draw some of the Main Characters in an 'Over the Garden Wall' style : D
I almost forgot I drew that, so it was a really fun find in my art folders! Anyway, I hope ya'll like it : > I simplified some things, like their personal patterns, but I think that helped it fit in better with the OTGW look.

Some souls aren't good enough to deserve eternal bliss, and at the same time they aren't bad enough to be eternally damned- but they're still dead! What's left but to be trapped beyond the veil of the living, haunting the Cemetery Islands with all the other dead that can't move on. Among those dead is the Winnower of Gray Gate named Wake, whose job is to weed out those fit to join the Grave Keepers from those who can't quite cut it. That is to say, wield a Scythe... Unfortunately, it could be said that this sharp-toothed spirit might have an ego too big for his headstone... Welcome to the afterlife, as a Mid Soul.
