It was the morning of Halloween and there was an air of excitement and sadness. All the children were waking up and wanted their parent to help them put on their costumes and face makeup, but at one particular home the child was not happy. That child is named Kieran and he was dreading the day already. His parents noticed thid and told him to just ignore everything that would happen, but he told them how could he do that when he can see all the ghosts that are in the city. His parents then told him to not worry and to try his best to ignore them. He then let out a sigh and then his mother told him to go downstairs to eat breakfast with them. Kieren then smiled and told her yes ma'am and then his parents walked out of his room. He then stayed in his room for ten more minutes thinking about how was he going to get through the day and then he sighed again, grabbed his backpack and walked out of his room to go downstairs and eat breakfast with his parents.

       After breakfast, Kieren and his parents walked out of their home and his father drove him to school. Of course, he was still dreading the day, but he tried not to show it while his father drove. Suddenly, his mother turned in his direction and asked hime how was he doing so far. He then said.

      Kieren, "I'm doing fine mom."

      She smiled with relief on her face and then turned back around. Finally, his drove to his school, but then he became nervous and his father noticed, who told him that everything was going to be alright, but he knew it wasn't, because he knew it was going to be another Halloween in which he was going to see the ghost of a little girl. He then controlled himself and got off his parents vehicle and then walked up to his school. As soon as he walked up to his school, he was immediately greeted by his friends, but they noticed that he was nervous and then one of them asked them.

      Riley, "Hey Kieren, why are you nervous today?"

      Kieren, "Come on Riley you know what day it is."

      Riley, "Oh yeah, but don't worry about it. Just focus on school and then we can go trick or treating together."

      At Kieren smiled and then walked inside the school with his friends. But when they walked inside they were surprised to find that the entire hallway had been decorate, including all the classroom doors. Kieren was becoming scared and then he screamed because a girl dressed as a dead girl in white jumped out at them. Kieren's scream had surprised everyone and one of the teachers immediately ran up to him and then asked if he was fine. Kieren said yes and then told the teacher that one of his classmates had scared him. The teacher then turned around and also screamed then laughed and said.

       Mrs. Solace, "Mercedys I already told to stop scaring other kids."

       Mercedys, "Sorry, Mrs. Solace, I won't do it again." She runs away.

       Mrs. Solace, "Kieren don't be scared of everything. It's all fake okay."

       Kieren, "Yes ma'am." Mrs. Solace walks away.

       Kieren and his friends then walked to their lockers to put away their backpacks and get ready for their classes. Suddenly, Kieren felt something wrong in the air and immediately knew what it meant; there were ghosts out in the school. Kieren then decided that he would do his best to ignore all of them and not distract him from his classes.

        A few minutes later, the bell rings and all the students rush to their classes. But when Kieren walked into his first, he was immediately greeted by a spirit, but it was no ordinary spirit; it was the spirit of the little girl that was killed right in front of his school, but he did not mind her, it was the other ghosts that bothered him. The other spirits were terrifying, rude, some of them were only mischievious, but many of those spirits like to follow Kieren around the school anb bully him, but he tried his best to ignored and today was no different. Suddenly, one of the ghost entered the classroom and went straight for Kieren, but the spirit of the little girl got to kieren faster and protected Kieren. He became surprised, but then smiled and mouthed thank you to her. The female spirit smiled, but then began to cry, because she was finally happy that Kieren had shown her some gratitude. She then decided to stay in the classroom in case any more bad spirits went inside. Luckily, no more bad spirits went inside.

         An hour later, class ended and Kieren walked out of his class feeling happy, but he noticed that female spirit was still followin him. He then decided to tell his friends that he had to go to the library for a bit. His friends told him okay and then he went to the library. Once inside, he went to a private section of the library and then he turned to around to find that the female spirit had still followed him and then he asked.

         Kieren- "Why are you protecting me now?

         Sloan- "Because I don't want you to suffer."

          Kieren- "Oh. Thanks, but what exactly happen to you."

         Sloan cried then said- "I was killed by some evil men"

          Kieren became shocked by her words and then began to shed tears, but then he felt coldness hugging him. He looked and saw that it was Sloan. He then said.

         Kieren- "I'm so sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do to help move on?"

         Sloan- "Yes. PLease help me to go heaven, but first find the men that did this to me."

          Kieren- "Okay I wil, but who can I ask." The bell rings

         Sloan- "Its time to go to your next class. I will follow you all day, but may I also follow you home, so I can help you."

          Kieren- "Yes you may. Are you still going to protect me?"

         Sloan- "Yes."

          Kieren- "Okay, then let's get this over with."

         Kieren and Sloan then began to walk out of the library, but then Kieren stopped and hoped that no one had heard him talking. Luckily, no one else was in the library and then he continued to walk out. He then ran to his class without any notebooks or pencils, but luckily he had very good memory. The spirit of Sloan still followed him and still defended him in the classroom.

          After the class was finished, Kieren walked out of the classroom with Sloan still behind him. His friends then walked to him and noticed that he looked happier and he told them he was, then he told them that he has a secret to share with them. His friends eyes lit up and became like girls do when a friend has a secret, but he told that they would have to wait until lunch. He then laughed and walked away to his next class.

          Finally, lunch time came. Kieren's friends met up with him at his locker and then they walked to the cafeteria, talking about how their day was going. Once inside the cafeteria, they got in line to grab plates and unttesils to eat with. Then they all asked for their favorite foods and then went to find an empty table. Luckily, they did and then sat down and then began eating their food.

          After a few minutes, Kieren finally told his friends his secret.

          Kieren- "So, I'm ready to tell the both of you my secret. Come a little closer. (They did). Okay the both of you know that I can hear and talk with spirits, they nodded their heads, well there is a girl spirit that haunts our school, because this is where she died and now she wants help to catch her killers."

           His friends became shocked at his words and then one of them grabbed him and they all ran outside and then they all started yelling at him questions, but then he told them to stop and let him talk. They did listen to him and then one of them asked.

            Luis, "But how are you going to help a spirit find the ones that killed her?"

            Kieren- "She told me help her find the ones that killed her and that's why I'm going to go around and ask about what had happened to her."

           Marcus- "You are going to miss out on going trick or treating tonight?"

           Kieren- "Yep, I need to help her so that she can finally rest in peace."

           david- "But what about all the other spirits in our school?"

           Kieren- "I'll help them later on."

           Marcus whistles then says- "You surely have your work cut out for you"

           Kieren- "Yep. Okay lunch is almost over, so let's go back inside before the bell rings."

           The four of them then walked back inside, but went to their lockers and got everything they needed for their first afternoon class and then they all went to their classes before the bell ranged.

           Kieren could not stay still in his first afternoon and the teacher, Mr. Coscojuela, noticed who then asked him if he was fine and Kieren told him yes, but then kieren noticed that the spirit of Sloan and other ghosts were in the classroom, but he only smiled and then focused on the rest of the lesson.

           Finally, the class ended and kieren met up with his friends to discuss a plan about what was going to happen after school. The bell rang and they went to their classes. Kieren was still being followed by Sloan and some other spirits that have seemed to have taken a liking to Kieren, but he did not like it. Sloan noticed and asked the other spirits to not follow them, but they did not listen to her. Kieren noticed and then told them that if they did not leave him alone he would call a priest to exorcise them. At his words, they became scared and went away. Sloan smiled at and then told him that he was becoming braver, then he smiled back and thanked her. But then he noticed that his classmates and teacher had walked into the classroom and were staring at him. He then became embarrased and ran out of the classroom, but his teachers and classmates tried calling him back, but he did not listen and ran to the library, where he stayed at until it was the end of school.
