Giving a false sacrifice should result in some type of curse upon the family... One can hope.
Radiana was born to die. The illegitimate daughter of the high priest, her only purpose is to be sacrificed to the Sun God's son in her sister's place. But when said divine son, Prince Oratio, sees Radiana resisting the fires of the stake from the heavens, his curiosity is piqued.
