Kid Cy and Zack are examples of the two possibilities of what will happen when you absorb too much Xate into your body. You either die because your body is torn apart from the inside, or you get super unlucky and mutate into a Slayer.
Wouldn't it be fun to imagine which fate the other characters would get?
