In the morning the sun glowed a warm light over the 4 beings on what was left of this lone island. Both Samantha and her brother Samuel woke before the muddy golem and the Doubloon rose up from slumber. They both looked at what 1 man with some chains and a Golem could do in a single night. All the trees were gone, the sand and dirt mixed beyond the 2, there were pointy spiked towers of rocks sticking out from the bay of the island. It looked like a war zone and not like their little piece of home. Samuel shaded tears as he was brought to his feet. “WHY! Why must this happen to us, we did nothing to earn the wrath or misfortune and here we are.” He is then joined by his sister in crying for their lost home. This wakes the sleeping Captain. Doubloon’s heart realizes what it caused before his mind was cleared. He turned to the nearest body of water and started to sing softly, barely above a whisper. The twins turn to him, filled with anger and sadness. Until he throws one of the chains into the sea, and they hear a Thud ! The 2 of them looked puzzled. “What is this man doing now?’ said Samantha. And with a pull like a beast with anger in their veins, Doubloon pulls out a wooden crate from the sea. He brings the crate to the twins, and opens it to reveal some bottles of fresh water and cans of food. “I fished up breakfast.” Duobloon said before a can is smacked hits his face. “You think some wet food makes up for the damage you caused, it doesn’t. You are more of a monster then Clay!” Said Samuel. “So Clay is Golem's name. Well maybe then I know what to call your pet on the boat then” Replied the Captain as he picked up the dented can. “What!?! You are not taking are Golem us, what gives you the right to do this.” Said Samantha. Duobloon chucked and said in a calm tone “ Who said I was just taking the Golem to be a part of my crew, you 2 earn your spots on my ship as well.” The Twins looked shocked in the moment, Samuel said “ Your kidding, you washed up on the beach only 2 to 3 days ago, destroyed are only home and now you want us to join your crew of Pirates, what is this a badly written story to you?” Doubloon replied with “ I’ll admit it wasn’t by choice I ended up here. But I believe its only fair I take you away from this mess, but I will give you both a choice. Join my crew and sail the sea, explore the world and battle monsters. And I’ll take you back to your home…” That word sparked something in the Twins, something that they thought died a long time ago. It could be hope for them to be home, or wonder for the world ahead of them. Duobloon continues, “And then you 2 could make the choice to either say a part of the crew or finish your travels where you came from. Deal?” Samantha asked “Why? Why would you give us this option? You are a pirate, your kind normally would never show kindness…” Samuel adds “ And why should we trust you not to backstab us as well?” Doubloon could only say “I can tell you both, I’m sorry for my actions. I’m not the best at everything, but I don’t act like a monster cause I only wish to have fun even when the tides toss me about. I think it's only fair to offer a hand to those I sunk when I go on.” He holds out his hand, his real human hand. The twins accept his offer. They sit in the sun's warm glow talking about what they will see and how they can finally have a life off the island, even Clay the Golem watches over them. As time past Samatha asked “ So how will you get your ship here, we don't have any wood or nails to build one.” Doubloon replies with “Oh, they are just about here. I sing to call here closer to me. And if you ever feel lost, just sing to the sea and you can feel through the water, the ship is coming.” The twins and the golem both look confused until they see it. A huge ship bigger than the island they sit on. The boat looks not to be made out of hard wood like Pirate ships or steel like a military ship, no it was made out of stone, like rocks in a pond. “How does such a ship stay a float, it's impossible by all logic!” Screamed Samuel. “I guess that's why they call me and my crew, The Island Pirates.” said the Captain of the stone ship. The twins turn to him and realize they have made a huge jump from survival to adventure.
