CHAOTIC WORLD: Raid Of SIns

Weeping Siren

Weeping Siren

Mar 15, 2026

The flames surged around him, night making sure that it didn't touch his sword.

Then he lunged in, the spawn tried to dissolve but I was faster, I let my flames hit it, and then a shriek echoed out, then I swung my blade at its neck, but it was still too cunning to dissolve before I could.

But it was still in my range, the flames died down , I couldn't use it anymore, so I lunged at it.

Knowing my flames were gone it tried to attack, striking a vital point, but it just passed through, since I switched into my shadow form.

Then with the chance I got, I aimed for its neck.

My blade collided with the spawn's neck but it didn't cut, it was too thick.

A small crack appeared on the blade, knowing i was distracted, it struck me in the stomach. Sending me flying.

My fore head was injured, and my hands were shaking but i managed to stand up.

The spawn came closer, before dissipating into mist and then, it was gone.

Silence filled the forest as night fell asleep.
---
Two days passed, the sudden appearance of that abomination was clear in the forest.

The number of wailers in the forest reduced rapidly. It was a good thing, but it made everything even more intense than it already was.

The few wailers that were left grew stronger, and more ferocious.

Night was really injured from the last fight, his injuries didn't heal, making it even harder to survive.

Regardless, he was waiting for an opportunity to kill that spawn.

Since if he didn't, he would die sooner than he expected.

Night walked into the deeper and covered part of the forest.
His shadow wasn't with him, it was scouting ahead, that was the only thing he could do now, he was unable to use the black flame trait along with the shadowless trait.

He found nothing, so he returned back for the day.

After dropping all he could find inside the cave, he went back to the ocean.

It was stupid of him, but still he knew her very well.

The song echoed into the air, the same sound that echoed every night.

The cry of the ocean.

Another tune, rising slowly, echoed within the song. The moon was high in the sky, and dim shadows of trees filled the paths leading into the forest.

A familiar presence, shrouded in mist, slowly emerged from the ocean.

It was back, the damned abomination.

Without a thought, night released shadows from his hand, the sand at the foreshore.

The moment it stepped into it, the dark sand shot up like it was alive.

Night hadn't gained any new traits , he just found out what he had been oblivious of.

Shadow manipulation, it allowed him to manipulate shadows into any form. But all he had been doing was neglecting it.

The shadow returned to his hand.

The sand still took the form, only stiff and uncontrollably.

But it wasn't enough.
[black sword]
[Lamenting Edge]

This time, i will kill you.
---

Night lunged, stirring up the sand beneath his feet, the spawn tried to dissolve into mist, but i was faster, swung at with all might.

I cut its glass like skin. Black blood spilling out, i went further, swinging towards its limbs.

It stopped dissolving and clenched its fists.

I slashed at its fists, both blades crashing down.

The shock wave shaken the waters.

I jumped back and went forward again.

This time using foot work, I slashed again.

It blocked it again, i sent another attack again
.
My repeated attacks made its fists bleed. Then it changed, its full body was shown as the mist dissolved away. Its eyes were ferocious.

Then it attacked me.

I blocked the blow.
Then counter attacked, cracks appeared on its skin.
I dismissed the lamenting edge, and grabbed a bone from my bag.
Shadowy mist entered it, as night closed the gap, aiming for a vital point, the spawn caught on, instantly making a loud shrieking sound .

Night, threw the bone and hit it with the sword's blade. It shot forward, bypassing its tough skin.

The sound died down in an instant.
Blood poured out from its wounded mouth.

But it was unfazed.

It lunged forward, this time faster than. before, countering all my attacks.

He swiftly made a decisive blow to its leg and then cut it off.
The spawn stopped moving. It worked. The Will-Cutting Enchantment finally worked. After all the series of attacks , he had cut it enough to break its will. I could still feel its urge to fight, but this time, it had no plan to escape.
Moving faster,
Night summoned the lamenting edge back. Then focused on remembering the swordsmanship he used in the forgotten spire. The moment the spawn lunged at him. He lunged forward, cutting horizontal. It was. crude but had a very pitiful resemblance to it.
He moved forward, with each strike and move, he felt his muscles and tissues tear apart. His former wounds reopened. But in exchange, he knew he could finally do it. He swung faster, slashing repeatedly.
First strike, second strike, third.....the more he moved, the faster his attacks became. He was faster, bleeding and injured. But he didn't stop.

And with a decisive move, he was at its neck. He vomited a mouthful of blood, but he made sure his grip was tight. And without even a slight bit of hesitation. He beheaded it, feeling hot blood pour on his face and the hex's voice echoing in his ear, he fell to the ground, his eyes closed shut.

All he could do was hear what the hex was saying;
[You have slain Twilight Horror, weeping siren]
[Absorbing Residual energy]
[Your flames grow darker]
[Your shadow becomes better defined]
[ Your traits grow stronger]
The hex's voice died down, and along with it, night's consciousness.

---
Night was slowly moved across the forest rapidly, but a figure, she looked human, but her eyes bore sorrow no human could. By her waist, a black Sword with a bizarre shape and form , rested.
She whispered with a lifeless voice.
"Why am i doing this".

If you are reading this, it must've begun. The spark as been ignited and it's just a matter of time before it becomes a flame.
When the world began, Human's existed, there's no reason to explain the reason for their existence.
But even without it, it's hard to neglect their nature.
Humans are only driven by desire, most of those desires are guided by sins.
They tainted the world in sins, and brought unto themselves , judgment.
Lifes were obviously taken, laws were broken but still they survived.
Most of who survived gained access to power that was never meant to appear. Because, even such judgement had to be fair.
In the end, the judgement will only start when the flame is lit and ends when all sins are cleansed.
