At the end of the sea the 4 of them hear a loud BANG! Then a large metal ball with a chain tailing comes flying to them. The Golem covers the Twins to protect them as the Captain stains them with pride. Bashed into the mud and sand of the island the metal orb hits a few feet from them. “What the bloody hell, I thought this is your crew?!?” Screamed Samuel. “Oh ya that's just a ride, you see that ship is how you say, Too Big to Dock.” said Doubloon. The 4 of them climbed on top of the metal orb and were pulled back at such speeds it felt as if they were flying. Both Samantha and Samuel were holding on to the Golem Clay as Captain Duobloon stood high and tall, as if he did this every Friday. And with a loud crash they land on the stone ship. As the dust settled the first new face the twins saw was a strange, more amphibian than human. It was a toad/human hybrid, he had stranded like a frog on a lily pad. Bumps on his chin and clear eyes that seem human. He was greeting them with what could be seen as a smile in his own way. “Toady, how are you doing my second mate?” Said Doubloon. The twins looked confused then Samuel spoke, “This thing is your Second Mate, its … it’s…” Toady said, “Not human, I get that a lot of land legs.” Doubloon adds with “He is also the ship's cook too.” This led to the twins giving horrified looks. “I’m sorry, but not to be rude. Um… I dont think it would be smart to have frog slime near the plates we eat…” Samantha said. Toady shrugged as if to say he had been told this very thing many times over. “To be told this is nothing new, but I never made slime like the pond frogs you Land Legs would catch back then, I am lucky to even feel the ocean breeze on my body less they hash rays on the blazing ball of the sun.” Said Toady. Samantha looked at Toady closer and realized he was in fact as dry as a bone in sand. And his apron was still a gray white with his sandals on his webbed feet wrapped tight. “He is a good cook non-the less, just try his fish n chips and you will never regret it.” Spoke a man with a fishing rod in one hand, and the other resting on a lever to the chained ball, which is being sent under the deck. “Ho, and this is the Docker, Danny. He is chill as they come and mostly stays out on the main deck just to catch something.” Said Doubloon. Samuel walks to the Docker to see him up close, Danny has a dirty face with a small amount of facial hair. He was wearing a worn out coat with fish hooks on the rim of it. He gives the young boy a smile and says “And who may you 3 be then?” In order they replied “I'm Samuel, this is my sister Samantha, and this big guy is Clay… we are the new guys.” Danny chuckled and handed him 2 keys, each with a wooden fish on them. “Then here is your guys' room keys.” Toady looked confused, but slowly it turned to a smile. “Well I guess this is what I should have seen when the captain falls off the ship drunk, the crew grows, and I have to take responsibility for it.” Captain Doubloon replies with “Hey! As the captain of this ship I take full responsibility for my crew.” To which Toady says “ Yes, but I’m the one who needs to feed them.” The Twins laugh at the back and forth between Doubloon and Toady. It was a fresh start and it was looking better than they thought, and it was only the first 2 members of the ship they had seen. Toady decided to show the 3 to the rooms on the 3rd floor. “So, what did Doubloon do to you to get you stuck on this rock?” Asked Samuel. “Oh, nothing really, I chose to join him since the very day he pulled this very ship to sea. And maybe he is a destructive guy, he still knows how to welcome the newbies.” Replied Toady as he showed the Twins and Golem to the end of the Hall, where a window showed their island shrinking as they sailed on. “The girl is to the left and the lad is the right, see you 2 for lunch in a bit.” The twins looked out through the window seeing their old life slowly disappear. Not with sadness or rage, but with something different. It was joy for the first time. “So we are pirates now?” asked Samantha to her brother. “I believe so, real pirates.” he returned.
