Jay (from outside):

"Johan! Wake up! You're going to be late for school!"

Johan:

"I'm coming! Good morning, Uncle Jay."

Jay:

"Where's your bag?"

Johan:

"It's on the table. Today is my first day, how can I be late?"

Jay:

"Don't be so relaxed. Eat your breakfast first."

Johan:

"I already finished. I'm leaving now."

Jay:

"Alright. Take care of yourself."

Outside the School

Johan (thinking):

"So this is St. Mary's School…"

"Let's see… where is my classroom?"

"Oh, there it is—Fashion Department."

Inside the Classroom

Johan:

"So this is my classroom…"

(He looks around and sits)

"This seat is empty. I'll sit here."

(Suddenly…)

Student:

"Hey! What do you think you're doing? That's my seat."

Johan:

"But no one was sitting here…"

Student:

 "I said it's mine."

"Don't you understand? "

"People like you sit at the back."

(Johan stays silent and moves)

Teacher Enters

Teacher:

"Good morning, students."

Students:

"Good morning, teacher."

Teacher:

"Since today is the first day, introduce yourselves. Start from the first row."

Student 1:

"My name is Tina. I'm 17 years old. My parents are businessmen, and I want to become a fashion designer."

Teacher:

"Good. Next."

Student 2:

"My name is Somi. I'm 16 years old."

Student 7:

"Myself Derek. I'm 17, and I want to become an MMA fighter."

Student 9:

"Myself Steve. I'm 16, and I will manage my father's company after graduation."

(Students whispering)

"She's so pretty…"

"He's rich…"

"Look at him…"

Johan's Turn

Johan:

"My name is Johan. I live with my uncle. He owns a convenience store."

"My dream… is to become a world-class designer."

After Class

Teacher:

"That's all for today. Classes will start properly from tomorrow."

(Johan sitting quietly)

Shub:

"Hey! You're Johan, right?"

Johan:

"Yes."

Shub:

"Nice to meet you. I'm Shub. Let's be friends."

Johan:

"Okay."

Shub (smiling):

"Since we're friends… can you bring lunch for me from the cafeteria?"

Johan:

"…You can go yourself."

Shub:

"Come on, we're friends now. Do me a favor."

Johan (after pause):

"…Fine."

After Johan Leaves

Shub:

"He actually agreed… what an idiot."

Zeek:

"Yeah. You really fooled him."

Shub:

"I'll just use him for now."

(They laugh)

Cafeteria Scene

Johan:

"One cheeseburger, please."

Worker:

"Wait a moment."

(Students talking nearby)

"Did you hear? There's a gang in school."

"Yeah… 'Challengers'."

"Sounds stupid, but the leader is dangerous."

Johan (thinking):

"A gang in school… I should stay away from them."

Worker:

"Johan, your order."

Johan:

"Thank you."

(Johan walking… suddenly bumps into someone)
