Damn Reincarnation : Ashes of Glory

Goddess of faith, pleasure and Night Twilight Goddess ( part - 2 )

Goddess of faith, pleasure and Night Twilight Goddess ( part - 2 )

Mar 26, 2026

‎Ciel and Kristiana were taken aback by these words; there are many temples of twilight, which they look around for in each temple of the world.

‎‎Ortus cleared his throat and replied, "Ciel Lionheart, I didn't know why you were searching for that place. If Eugene Lionheart wants something, finding that temple may be something quite serious."

‎‎Ceil nodded abruptly, and Kristiana didn't know back then she was this special to only dragons, but many loved her. But what if we successfully become evil gods? Will the world treat her the same way or not? She shook her head, letting go of these thoughts.

‎‎Ceil turned to Ortus; he put his fingers on his lips and was thinking something. Ceil asked in a polite tone, "Sir Ortus did know about something related to the Twilight Witch Temple."

‎‎ortus was taken aback by Ciel's words and shrugged. "There is a saying from our oldest ancestors: there is an enormous temple of twilight witches in the seas somewhere around Guiliana Island. I can't be sure of that."

‎‎Scalia also nodded hesitantly and said, "Did Lord Eugene really try to find that temple? If you succeed in finding it, let us know as well.

‎‎Kristiana said with a slight nod, "Of course, thanks for your help, Lord Ortus and Princess Scalia. We will let you know as well."

‎‎Ceil and Kristiana offered their goodbyes, and they also said, "Don't say anything about this to His Majesty; it's a secret left between us." They didn't deny it but closed their mouths to news spreading.

‎‎Ciel and Kristiana left the Royal Palace and now appeared out of the gate. They can see Rai Mira in the distance waiting for them; she was in her dragon form.

Did you find anything about the Twilight Witch temple? "Rai, Mira asked in a cherished voice.

‎‎Ciel and Kristiana didn't say anything but nodded their heads. They came close; Raimira put her back down. They immediately sat down on her back, and Raimira flew high towards Sogltea Sea Island, where Eugene, Seinna, and Anise were waiting.

‎‎After a short period of time,

‎‎Sienna looked at Eugene, who was like in deep sleep. Four hours had passed; he still couldn't connect with her.

‎‎Anise, from a sidelong way, said sharply, "It's taking them too long; they really can't find something."

‎‎"Phew," Sienna removed the sweat from her forehead. The sky is too bright; it's currently afternoon now.

"Who knows? Finding a temple in a deep ocean is not quite different because that temple is hidden with divine power. Also, even as a magic goddess, my magic can't find that temple," Sienna remarked.

‎‎Anise didn't say anything; that was only natural. God of Light was worshipped all over the world. Hamel and Noir are also gods from the ancient era, but they are forgotten. The world has recognized Eugene as a hero and a god.

‎‎Sienna and Anise see in the distance that Vermouth and Molon are coming in this way. Ciel and Kristiana are also behind them, coming with Raimira.

‎‎Sienna thought greatly; she sensed by their expression they definitely found something. ‎

‎Vermouth and molon land in front of anise and sienna. Vermouth glanced back at Eugene; his eyes were sitting on hard rock. He is meditating to focus his divine power in one specific place to find noir.

‎‎Molon also looked at him for a moment and turned towards Seinna. He said, "We lot a information from Gondor. He knows much about twilight, which he said was being worshipped by many races throughout the multiple eras.

‎‎Anise and Seinna both jaw-dropped wordlessly. What is this idiot saying? Maybe he heard wrong. Seinna thought that she was a quite big deal, but being worshipped by many races—isn't that too much?

‎‎They both turned to Vermouth for confirmation; he nodded in agreement without any hesitation, which made them glute silent.

‎‎Vermouth shrugged his shoulders and said, "That's a truth Molon is saying. I'm also quite shocked." Well, that doesn't matter; there are many temples around the world. They may be destroyed or lost within the seas. There is a gigantic temple somewhere in the Saltgeo Sea, but where it is, he also doesn't know," he remarked.

‎‎Anise couldn't believe her ears; she could hear such a thing. "Many races build multiple temples for the twilight witch."

‎Ceil and Kristiana were sitting on Raimira's back. Raimira lands on the island, her draconic wings creating a huge gusting of wind flow. Ceil and Kristiana quickly dropped from Raimira back.

‎‎She transformed back into her human form and quickly ran towards them. She stood beside me to listen to the conversation.

Ceil stood up at Sienna to meet her eye level; she could guess by their expression that Uncle Vermouth and Sir Molon had already said something. She took a soft sigh and started explaining everything she had heard from Lord Ortus and Princess Scalia. She told us about ancient dragon records.

‎‎Kristiana also spoke in a solemn tone: "There are many temples of Noir Gia Balla all around the world; some are hidden and destroyed by continuous eras. But what Lord Ortus said to us is there is an enormous divine temple of twilight somewhere around Guilitina Island.

Molon tilted his by crossing arms. "We also reached the same conclusion, but he didn't hear about Guilitina Island. Is this island in this country?"

‎‎Seinna and Anise shook their heads; they had never heard of such an island in this country.

‎‎Seinna was in deep thoughts; her gears of mind are moving faster. Guilitina Island, divine temple of twilight witch? Where is Guilitina Island in this place? Her magic also can't work no matter what she does; it's too unpredictable to guess.

‎‎Eugene opened his eyes; he sensed her presence, but it was still too far. He could watch and hear everything his companion said. He leaned down from the rock and walked towards his companies.

He quibbled by voicing his thoughts, "I heard everything that you have said; it's quite hard to believe she was worshipped by many races and also had multiple temples, unlike me, who hardly had mere just records and one holy temple that was in a mess within the seas.

‎‎Everyone turned to Eugene, not saying anything; they sensed he was quite disappointed he was loved by many races despite being already a god of war. It's natural he is disappointed.

A smirk formed on her face. "Are you quite disappointed that you are not loved by many races and have many temples, unlike her?" Ceil teased.

‎‎Eugene turned to head out. He held his tongue, and a weird smile formed on his lips. He said in an embarrassed tone, "I'm not disappointed by this, Ciel. It's predictable. I never told anyone to worship me like a god, unlike her. She knows very well what people want from her."

‎‎Ceil and others worldlessly stared at him; they were utterly stunned by this response and couldn't think of anything to reply.

Eugene turned, and taking a deep breath, he asked Kristiana, "So you're from Ortus and Scalia. There is a divine temple of noir somewhere around Guilitina Island, but that doesn't exist in this country, right?

‎‎Everyone nodded sharply; they can't understand how an island didn't exist or maybe was hidden for eras not come in humanity's eyes.

Eugene said, holding his tongue in irritation, "We need to find an ancient era temple that was built by Mel Zri. She was protecting that for eons, for eras; maybe she also hid Guititina Island."

‎‎Anise and Sienna found the moment perfect to ask about MLZri. Who is she? They are sure she is not a human.

‎‎Anise said sharply, tilting her head towards Eugene, "Who is LZRI? Hamel, you didn't tell us about her, or maybe you didn't want to talk about her.

‎‎Everyone looked at Eugene; they were demanding answers. Eugene placed a hand on the back of his neck, his face twisted in a scowl. "The answer to that question is neither I nor all of us because she is not even able to tell. But we'll anyway. She was a dragon back then when I defeated Twilight. The witch had a baby dragon as her guardian; she was too arrogant and violent. I kicked her ass. She was utterly defeated and disappeared from her kingdom and never showed her face again to me.

Sienna pouted; she held her tongue not to curse. She looked at who was saying arrogant and violent things that also resembled you.

‎‎No one said anything in response. They know he gets angry and spits out some curses.

Eugene continued his words, "Let's head towards the northern ocean. I can sense a faint trace of her soul; maybe we can find Guititina Island also there."

‎‎His companion nodded without any response. Raimira changed back to dragon form again.

‎‎Seinna shrugged her shoulders and, in a hesitant tone, said, "Eugene, how long will it take to find her temple, which was completely lost and hidden?"

‎‎Eugene spat out at her, "Do you have any other option? I told you I can sense her presence. I'm sure Guititina Island is somewhere in the Northern Ocean.

Sienna smirked at him and said, "Let's go then. Maybe we'll find a true myth. It's quite fascinating, isn't it? A hidden temple of a loved goddess by many races.

‎‎Eugene glanced at her; he sensed a mocking tone in her words. His worrying, uttering a word, he just nodded.

Eugene activated his divine power; his wings of light appeared behind his back, and he soared high in the sky. Sienna used her magic to fly; Anise also used her angel wings. Kristiana and Ceil tightly gripped black dragon skin with a roar; she was flying behind them. Vermouth and Molon didn't waste any time; they also followed behind them.

‎‎Within a short period of time, Eugene and his companies come across the northern ocean. Eugene sensed something in the distant sky.

‎‎"The weather here is too harsh with dark black clouds and continuing weird spikes of rain; it's not any ordinary rain, and it's even piercing our bodies," Anise said in an irritated tone while observing the darkened clouds.

‎‎"It's right, Sister; this is not any ordinary rain; it's wounding our bodies. We continue to need cast holy magic to heal wounds," Kristiana said in a low voice. She also cast holy magic on Ciel; her body was wounded by spikes she endured quite well.

‎‎"Someone cast magic over this whole place so ordinary humans can't enter this place; even if they come, they will surely die by this bizarre weather. I can't guess the nature of this magic; it's not from this era," Seinna said by clicking her tongue in frustration.

‎‎"It's ancient magic of some races; they surely cast this magic to protect this place," Vermouth said behind Sienna. He already guessed the nature of this magic.

‎‎Molon nodded in agreement with Vermouth's words. He also knew this magic didn't belong to this era.

‎

‎"That's right, some of the races who guided this place cast the magic in order to protect their goddess temple. It also means we are getting closer." Eugene said to everyone by projecting his voice.

Everyone listens to his words, and they don't think of something to ask and follow him behind.

‎‎Eugene conjured his divine sword, Levata Nin. He thought there was a barrier in front of him; he needed to bypass that thing. He held his divine sword; he slashed in the distant sky.

‎‎"Why are you slashing in the sky? Is there something? Seinna asked with a frown.

‎‎"Look ahead, Seinna, there is something in the sky by Hamel slash we can see now; it looks like a floating island," Anise said with wide eyes.

‎‎Ceil and Kristiana blinked at their eyes. What were they seeing? Raimira's jaw opened and closed worldlessly.

‎‎"A floating island? Could it be possible it's even floating without any magic? It's unbelievable I can see one now," Seinna said with narrowed eyes.

Even Vermouth can't understand it's not even ancient magic making that island float or its divinity. He thought by glaring straight at that mystery island.

‎‎"I also can't tell Senina and Anise how that island is floating, but I guess it's divine power to make that island float possible," Eugene remarked.

"‎"Let's head there; there is something on that floating island," Eugene observed.

‎‎They didn't say anything after this response.

‎‎"Sir Eugene I can sense some life on that island. What if they attack us? "Mer?" asked in a mental voice while shivering inside his cloak.

‎‎"No need to worry; I don't think they will attack us without any reason," Eugene assured her by putting a hand inside his cloak.

‎‎After a moment,

‎‎They arrived on the floating island. What they saw was a beautiful island with cherry blossom trees, a crystal-clean river, and mountains. What they saw immediately there was an enormous statue of a twilight witch that was in the middle of this floating island.

‎‎Eugene and others land in front of the statue. There are some flying creatures on this island, but they look in a slumbering state. Some of them are also resting around the statue.

‎‎"Who are these creatures? There are flames on their wings. Even I have never seen such creatures—huge flaming birds. They are huge and have brilliant flames," Sienna inquired.

‎‎"It looks like they are sleeping or in a deep slumbering state. Anise said while observing this mysterious creature.

‎‎"It's better to hide our presence," they thought. "Let no one come to this place; maybe there are sleeping people, but they can attack if they feel our presence," Vermouth said in a cold tone.

‎‎Eugene nodded at Vermouth's reply, "We don't need to stay any longer; we're quite close to our destination."
