So, we arrived at their house, which was a giant oak tree, hollowed out on the inside, similar to mine and Kumoto’s home, which is just a giant hollowed out rock. Once we were inside, I braced myself for the worst. I wasn’t sure what would happen, all I knew was that I didn’t trust these dogs. They were weird, and not in the way that most people are weird. But surprisingly, they didn’t kill us where we stood. The room was quite cute, actually. We were in the kitchen when we first walked in, with a hallway to the right, assumedly where their bedrooms were located, then a door to the left. Perhaps a bathroom.

Their kitchen was an oval, and it had some benches and cupboards and stuff all on the side we were directly facing. Then, in the middle was a short wooden table with some pillows surrounding it. I guess it was a tea table. All together, it gave off a very cozy, homy vibe.
They guided us inside, then Mooey sat down at the table, patting the cushions next to him, indicating for us to sit down. Me and Kumoto sat down, but Fluffy and Purps were too small, so they sat on our laps just so they could see what was going on, with Fluffy on mine and Purps on Kumotos. The cushions weren’t too comfortable. Then again, not many cushions are comfortable to me. There are very few, specific cushions that I like to sit on, so I found myself changing position throughout the time I was sitting. Nonetheless, I sat down, and Kumoto sat next to me. Then, Minnie sat down opposite us, giving us a very stern look when she did, intertwining her paws with her elbows resting on the table. It was loud when she sat down, so loud in fact the whole table moved slightly, and so did the pillows. It didn’t come off as much of a surprise to me though, as she did look quite large. It was cute though. I think it suited her.

Mooey began to stand up as he asked what tea we wanted, looking at just me, Fluffy, Purps, and Kumoto. Though I noticed he didn’t seem to look at Minnie. Maybe they were gonna poison us. That’d be a fun death, wouldn’t it? But, if I was gonna go out by drinking tea, it might as well be my favourite, which was Chai.

Kumoto decided to die by drinking a green tea, Fluffy, a chamomile, and Purps, a sleepy time.

Minnie also ordered a chai, which surprised me, because if they were going to kill us, I’d think Minnie would know, though judging by her intelligence perhaps she wouldn’t know to not order a tea when offered. Though Mooey may have been smarter, as he protested by saying;

“You make your tea yourself.” He turned to her, with his paw on his hip, and his other pointing a finger at her as if he were a parent and she was a misbehaving child.

“Why!” Minnie asked, crossing her arms in a fit of rage. I’d thought she would’ve known by now, though I guess not.
“Because you’re a grown dog! You can make it yourself!” He said, trying his best to be calm, which resulted in him yelling quietly.

“Then why are you making them all tea?” She angrily gestured to us while looking at him, trying to prove a point.
“Because they’re our guests! Why can’t you just make it yourself?” He leaned towards her in order to further convince her. I felt awkward witnessing this argument, but also glad because this was entertainment. Though the more they argued, I couldn’t help but wonder if they were actually going to poison us, or if I was just being dramatic.

“Cause I’m too fuckin lazy!” She exclaimed as she leaned back. Mooey stomped his paw then pointed to the hall.
“That’s it. Go to your room.” I guess Minnie regretted what she’d just done right now, because she started to look sorry.

“Wait, no, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to swear.” Despite her apology, it didn’t seem like Mooey was moving on getting her to go to her bedroom.

“Nope! I’ve let you off one too many times. There will be no potty mouth in this house.” He demanded, pointing his finger towards the hall again.
“Fine.” She whined as she stood up with her head facing the ground, arms slagging as she slowly trailed off into her room.
“Now, you have a good think about what you’ve done, and come out when you’re ready to apologise!” Mooey yelled after her.

Our teas were ready. He finished making them, and handed them to us. It was warm, though I couldn’t help but notice how it was in a coffee mug, not a regular mug. I took a sip. And no, I didn’t die, and it was surprisingly good chai! Not dying, free entertainment, and a free chai. This day turned out to be pretty good!
“I’m so sorry about that.” I was trying my best not to laugh and I think everyone else was too, because when I looked at them they all had the same reaction that was a slight smile, but they were trying to take deep breaths in order to not let anything out.
“It’s… It’s fine… Really.” Said Kumoto, and I nodded in agreement.

“Now, tell us about yourselves.” Asked Mooey, clearly still pretty embarrassed about what just happened.

“Well, what do you wanna know?” Kumoto asked as she put her arm on the desk and leaned her head on her palm, still trying her best not to laugh.

“How long have you been here?” He took a sip from his tea. I did too. I love chai, as you could probably tell.

“Well, me and Kura have been living here for about five years.” She gestured to me.
I watched as Fluffy scrambled from my lap to the table, and tried to drink from the tea cup that was almost the same size as him. Although to be fair, it was a big tea cup.

“Hmm…” Said Mooey, holding his finger to his chin.
“Excuse me.” He left the table and wandered into the hallway. I had no clue what he was doing there. But we waited. It took a while, but we waited.

Then he came back.
“Sorry about that.” He sat back down. But then, we heard Minnie yell from her room.
“Bro!” He got up and went straight to her room, this time without saying a thing.

We could hear everything they said through the walls. Not that the walls were thin, from what I could tell, they were quite thick. I think it was just that Minnie and Mooey were loud.

“Can I come out now? I wanna come out.” I heard Minnie complain, although it was somewhat muffled.
“Are you ready to say sorry?” Mooey asked.
“Ugh, yes.” She moaned. Then, they came back out.
Mooey was holding her arm when they walked back in. He tugged at it.
“Now, say sorry to our guests.” He looked at her, but she couldn’t make eye contact with him.
“Ughh, I’m sorry for how I acted before. It wasn’t nice.” She’s right. It wasn’t nice. But it sure was fucking hilarious.
“Good. Now you can ask them those questions you’ve been meaning to ask.” Mooey nodded.
“Okay.” Huffed Minnie. They both sat back down.
Minnie placed her paw on her hip, and pointed at us with her elbow on the table, as if she were interrogating us.
“How long have you been living here?” She asked, in a rather stern manner.

“Uh, Mooey already asked us that same question.” I said, as I took a sip of my tea, unsure of what to expect from her.
I watched, as Purps jumped from Kumoto’s lap, then drank the tea he was given.

Minnie turned to Mooey.
“Have they…” She started, but Mooey just nodded, I guess telepathically communicating something I didn’t know about.
“Do you know… Of anybody… Named Charlie?” She leaned closer and closer with each sentence, as I leaned further and further back. I mean, we didn’t know many neighbours aside from Francis and Dennis, so no, not really.

“No, I don’t think we do…” I said trying to be as honest as I could.

Minnie slapped a fist on the table, giving me a freight.
“Damn it! Another dead end.” Mooey hovered his paws around her, trying to console her so she didn’t have yet another fit of anger.
“Wait!” Fluffy chimed in, jumping up from below the table so we could all see him.
“Do you mean Charlie Starmorning?”
