In the Tan-Mallari household, ten years didn't simply go by; they accelerated. The boundaries between corporate mastery and childish play were blurred, as though the family lived at Mach 2.

At twenty, Zenrius Tan was more than simply a "Junior Dragon." He was a news story. He was the most eligible bachelor in the country, standing a towering 6'2" with his father's deadly Chinito eyes and a jawline that appeared to be carved from the obsidian of his office desk. Zen, however, did not attend gala balls. He dwelt in the sky, much like Zayrius. Now a famed pilot in his own right, he had obtained his commercial wings at the age of eighteen and was frequently spotted landing his private jet at provincial airports using the straightforward callsign "Z."

At fifteen, Elyzius Tan was a revelation. She had completely avoided the "awkward phase" and emerged as a young lady with exquisite taste and chilling knowledge. Despite being the "Audit Queen" of her prestigious international school, her actual genius was kept a secret. She wore her parents' "expensive aura"—a subdued, frighteningly exquisite confidence—instead of flashy branding. In less than 10 seconds, she could determine the brand's ethical position and the cost per wear based on an individual's attire.

But for the first time in their lives, the siblings had a secret that even the all-seeing eyes of Elizien and Zayrius hadn't detected

The Secret Headquarters: "Project Phoenix"

In a sleek, non-descript co-working space in the heart of Makati—registered under a shell company Zen had built during a summer break—the two Tan siblings met every Friday after their "official" duties.

When Elyzius said, "The initial public offering for the sustainable aviation fuel startup is ready, Zen," her voice perfectly mirrored her mother's business-like rhythm. Her father's piercing gaze was concealed by the sleek, stylish frames of her glasses, which she adjusted. "I've audited the supply chain four times. We're looking at a 300% growth margin within eighteen months. And that's without using the Tan Holdings name."

Zenrius watched a storm approach across the horizon while leaning against the window. His "billionaire aura" was concealed beneath a façade of carefree youth, and he wore jeans and a black hoodie. "Good. I don't want Dad to see this until the first refinery is built. He thinks I'm still just practicing my instrument landings. He doesn't know I've been buying up the mineral rights for the biofuel crops."

"And Mom thinks I'm just 'organizing the school library' when I'm actually managing our private equity portfolio," Elyzius added with a rare, mischievous smirk. "The look on her face when she realizes I've been out-calculating her for three fiscal quarters is going to be worth every cent of our secret savings."

They were "Shadow Tans." To their school and university friends, they were simply Zen and Ely—the enigmatic, stunningly beautiful siblings who lived in a luxurious condo and appeared to have "family in logistics." They wanted to prove that they could take over the world without the "Dragon" and the "Accountant" at their sides.

Puberty had been kind to the Tan genes, but it had brought a new set of challenges. Zenrius was constantly followed by whispers and hidden phone cameras whenever he entered a room. He carried the "expensive aura" effortlessly—a way of standing that suggested he owned the air around him.

On a rare outing in their "normal" attire, Elyzius remarked, "You have that scowl again, Zen," as they strolled through a public shopping center. "You're doing the 'Dragon' face. You're going to scare the girls away."

Zen said, "I don't need them staring," in a deep, gravelly voice that was reminiscent of his father's. "I just want to get this flight computer part and go home."

"Oh, look," Elyzius said, gesturing to a cluster of young women who were flushing and staring at Zen with wide eyes. "I think you just broke the heart of that entire cheerleading squad."

"And you," Zen shot back, turning to face his sister. "You're fifteen, and you're wearing a vintage watch that costs more than their tuition. If you want to be 'normal,' stop checking the P&L statements of the coffee shop while we're waiting for our lattes."

Elyzius shrugged, her eyes sharp. "I can't help it. The efficiency of their milk frothing is a disaster. It's a liability."

The family got together for dinner at the penthouse later that night. At the top of the table were Zayrius and Elizien, who were now in their mid-forties and appeared to be more powerful than before.

Zayrius chopped into his steak and said, "How was the flight simulation today, Zen?" With a mix of pride and skepticism, he gazed at his son. Recently, Zen's eyes had a sharpness to them that made Zayrius think of his own childhood—the sight of a guy working on a project.

Zen lied with ease, his visage a flawless mask of filial loyalty. "It was fine, Dad. Just practicing my crosswind landings," he said. (In fact, he had spent three hours in a boardroom meeting with three venture capitalists.)

"And you, Ely? How is the school gala committee?" Elizien asked, smiling at her daughter.

"The budget is... manageable, Mom," Elyzius, who was drinking water, said. (In actuality, she had recently made ten million pesos from a short sale on a failing retail chain.)

Zayrius narrowed his eyes, looking between his two children. The "Dragon" sense was tingling. He knew that look. He knew the quiet, electric hum of a secret being kept. He looked at Elizien, who gave him a subtle, knowing nod. They were the world's greatest auditors; they knew when the books were being cooked—even by their own children.

"You know," Zayrius remarked, crossing his arms and reclining. "I heard a rumor today. About a new startup in the aviation sector called 'Phoenix.' They say the founders are young, brilliant, and incredibly secretive. They say the Lead Pilot is a ghost, and the Auditor is a genius who doesn't even have a driver's license yet."

The table went dead silent.

Zenrius and Elyzius froze, their forks halfway to their mouths.

"That sounds... interesting, Dad," Zen said, his voice perfectly neutral.

Elizien added, "Very interesting," her eyes glimmering. "I'd love to see their tax filings. I imagine they're quite... creative."

Zayrius let out a low, rich laugh. He stood up, walked over to his children, and placed a hand on each of their shoulders. The "expensive aura" in the room was now fourfold, a powerhouse of DNA that could move mountains.

Whispering, "Don't look so shocked," Zayrius said. "I taught you how to fly. Did you really think I wouldn't notice when you left the nest to build your own sky?"

When the mask finally came off, Zenrius glanced up at his father. A smile appeared on his face, a genuine, arrogant, billionaire-pilot smile. "We almost had you, didn't we?"

"You had us for about twenty minutes," Elizien laughed, coming over to hug Elyzius. "But you're Tan's. And you're Mallari's. You don't just build businesses; you build legacies."

"So," Zayrius said, sitting back down. "Tell us about the 'Phoenix.' Does the Lead Pilot need a mentor? Or am I too 'inefficient' for your flight path?"

Zenrius chuckled, the future shining in his eyes."Actually, Dad... we were hoping you'd be our first investor. But the audit is going to be brutal."

As the family sat together, laughing and debating the future of their secret empire, the "Flight into Forever" took on a whole new meaning. The Dragon and the Accountant had raised two more, and the sky was no longer the limit.

It was just the beginning.

Elizien Mallari, a senior auditor, has faith in two things: her morning coffee and spreadsheets. Neither the frowning, wealthy pilot who is now berating her for being four minutes late to her own flight nor the cryptic warning of a fortune teller in the back alley is credible.

Distractions are not something Captain Zayrius Tan engages in. He leads a harsh life, flies quickly, and stays away from his family's business empire at all costs. However, Zayrius finds himself navigating a path he never intended to travel when a routine trip to Palawan devolves into a conflict with a sharp-tongued accountant and a battle against the monsoon.

Just one audit. Just one cockpit. And at thirty thousand feet, a prophecy is about to come true.
