It's almost a really sweet scene. Nagisa kinda nails the set up and gets Chiaki's attention right away. Their friends are close by, with Micah giving an encouraging thumbs up. Nagisa pauses and stalls while Chiaki is smiling and interested, but then she actually says it! Nagisa confesses her feelings!
...And if not for a certain disembodied voice only Chiaki can hear speaking right over her, this would have been so sweet.
