After John explained this to Zorin, Zorin then frowned after being reminded of Xyro's birthday. John notices this and asks “what's wrong Zorin?”

Zorin replies “Another Birthday without having parents or knowing them.”
John looks at Zorin and grabs a cigarette, and lights it with a pale blue flame on his finger tip and then takes a hit of it and blows out some smoke and says “That's life for ya, you were dealt a bad hand.”

John hands Zorin one manju and says “happy birthday bud, but eat it quickly.”

Zorin, having listened to John, grabs the manju and begins to eat, as he's eating his ear begins to twitch and the head maid Tiffany barges in and walks up to john from what he can see while trying to finish his manju.

Tiffany then asks “where is the prince cake?”

John then points to a box made out of ice with a little cloud snowing on the ice to keep it cool.

Tiffany then says “good, now where is the boy?”

John asks “what do you need him for?”

Zorin, still eating, starts to shake from having been hearing this conversation. Zorin thinks to himself “why did she have to be here? WHY!”

He then hears John speaking “he isn't invited to the prince’s birthday, SO WHY DO YOU WANT HIM!?”

Zorin then heard Tiffany say “hybrids like him need to be taught a lesson,” John called Zorin over, Zorin scared of what's going to happen walked over to John.

Tiffany reaches out trying to grab Zorin's wrist, John smacks her hand out of the way and says “to my understanding, he only bumped into you.”

Tiffany, visibly mad, says “how would you know that”, John replies with taking a hit from his cigarette and blows smoke in her face and says “I’m not deaf you hag, Now leave!”

Tiffany begins to leave from what Zorin could see, Tiffany then sneers at Zorin, and says "this is not the end of this,” and leaves.

John goes to say something to Zorin then looks around and notices he went missing, Zorin having left after Tiffany said, goes on a stroll, as he walked through the courtyard, he feels something primal and his instincts point to a shrub he then moved it a bit and discovered something pitch black.
