"I heard you visited the Chief. How was it?" He asked her.
"Hmm... It was interesting." The girl answered. She frowned awkwardly as if something unusual had happened.
"Interesting?" He repeated.
"It's just the Chief was not how I expected him to be. He was more gentle than I had imagined." She expressed.
"Why? What did you imagine?" He asked as he flopped down next to her, his head against the bed.
"I thought he would be large and ruff with an extremely deep voice. Like the ones in my novels." She explained.
Graham paused. At first, he thought she was joking, but after seeing the girl's large innocent eyes, he took what she said literally.
"I see..."
Oh? That reminds me of the novel I read recently. The girl thought to herself.
While the girl drifted off into a daydream, again, a thought came to mind. But why did father come to see me so suddenly? She thought.
Graham usually visits her once a week, but it has not yet been a week since his last visit.
Suddenly, Graham jolted from his previous position as if he was struck by something, then announced. "Ah! I just remembered. Get ready. We're going on a trip."
"Huh?"
"A trip? So suddenly?" The girl said.
"Hmm? Yeah. We need to get you some attire fit for sword training, do we not?" He explained.
"Now that I think about it. Lady Palma dosen't own that sort of clothing." Yona recalled.
"That settles it. We're going to the Southern Market."
