Well, where do I begin? I guess an introduction is in order. My name is Dave, and I'm the driver of the North Western Railway's Number 6 known as Percy. I work alongside Percy's fireman named Greg, he's a pretty nice guy, and the three of us get along well.
So, I'm not much of a writer, but I had the day off the other day and picked up this journal from my grandma as she didn't need it anymore. And I thought I should document a few things going on around the railway.
The famous Flying Scotsman was here last month, and everyone is still buzzing about it, especially Gordon as he's the famous A3's brother. We also had 2 diesels here on trial shortly after that. They went by D199, and D7101. But after an incident, D199 was sent away, and Sir Topham Hatt decided to buy D7101, who now goes by Bear.
Another thing which is a little concerning is that the British government has been having some issues with the German government, and it seems to be getting pretty intense; I'm hoping nothing bad comes of it as the Germans have been too quiet for way too long after the second world war. Other than that, nothing much else is going on, so I guess I'll write in here again if anything happens.
